I am who I am. As most people, I'm a mixture of culture, religion, class, experience, free will and anything else you can think of. In life, I strive to avoid stagnation, since if you are not progessing as a person, you might as well be dead. The other thing is procrastination, the great thief of time. In the end you only have one life, and when I breathe my last breath, I want it to be one of satisfaction of a full life fulfilled, not one of bitterness and regret. My life has been a reflection of a willingness to step out on faith. In less than a few months I've gone from music lover/fan to music journalist/critic. I truly value my position and use it wisely to illuminate the works of those who dare to bare their souls to the world. For the most part, I'm pretty laid back and reserved. Those close to me know I can be incredibly silly (yes I have jokes). I'm very self-assured and confident, but realize my limitations and strive to surround myself who those who push me to be better. I love to write, and am currently completing my first novel. Any other writers out there, please feel free to network and share ideas. It is a rewarding but difficult task to create art. Inshallah, I won't be one of those artists that everyone loves after they're dead. LOL ..

I admire artists who speak from their souls and take risks with their art. I value these attributes moreso than technical skill. Such artists whose stories speak to me are Billie Holiday, Nas, KORN, Les Nubians, The Ohio Plyers, Miles Davis, JohnColtrane, Notorious BIG, Minnie Riperton, Lauryn Hill, Nirvana, Lyn Collins, MF Doom, and Roy Ayers.
Hobbies
I am currently a boxing columnist and music journalist for www.allhiphop.com Daily you can read my breaking stories in the News Section. Boxing columns are posted Mondays by 4pm the Lifestyle/Sports section. And occasionally you can catch me doing interviews and reviews in the other sections. Besides that, I am a freelance writer. I'm a big pro wrestling fan, particularly the original ECW, Ring of Honor, and Puroresu. I am a seeker of knowledge, and constantly have a restless urge to explore. I can immerse myself in something as grand as a solar eclipse or as little as a ant hill. I just adore this universe we've been given.
