Trying to bring the opposing school of thought down to the level of yours in order to make your claim seem more plausible. Wouldn't surprise me if you think "intelligent design" should be taught in school science classses in the interest of "fairness". If one point of view is clearly superior to another by virtue of being based on fact then it is completely ridiculous to act like they are equal

Calling something a god is a tall order because your saying that this being is worthy of worship and devotion. And really even if a being did create me and all of creation, does that entitle it to devotion, especially considering no one asked to be created?

About 11-12 years ago I did a song that I'm thinking about remaking called "Didn't ask to be here". It was basically an analysis of the worldly bullshit that we bring new life into then expect them to be ok w/ it once they are here. Many children are born into and raised in situations that make death seem like a vacation in the Bahamas. The bolded comes to mind when I think back on that song because I've asked the same question myself. For arguments sake, let's say that there is irrefutable evidence that God does exist. Given the world that we live in, all of it's painful imperfections and it's volatile history....why worship a being that either directly or indirectly promotes and allows for such a violent & chaotic existence......all in his/her name? How does one's followers rationalize this in their own minds? Is bad stuff really ok just because it's the will of a higher diety? Nothing in the history of mankind has been so divisive and overrun w/ violence and death as a room full of individuals w/ differing religious beliefs. Even believers of the same faith fight over their own individual interpretations of the same book. You don't have to be a scientist or a well versed theologean to realize that there are pieces missing to both sides of the argument....some more than others IMO. Even the Geico caveman can understand that. The problem is and will always be arrogant, misinformed, overzealous, extremist who wish to spread their brand of belief to the world by any means necessary. There is only 1 thing that is fact and that is that no one will truly know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the answer until it's too late.

ok, so scientists have been able to gather data and images n all that from places of the universe lightyears away from where we at right now. as much as they have seen, all da diff planets n black holes n other galaxies n crazy shit happenin out there, there is only ONE place (EARTH) that holds life. the earth was made perfect so that humans can live and breathe. no other planet, not even the moon, is a place where ANY living thing can walk on and find food, water, and basically survive. not ONE other place other than the earth we live on. while u on ur computer or goin to school or work theres fuckin black holes suckin up matter, stars explodin and comets clashin sumwhere out there this very moment, yet we're the only motherfuckers out here wit internet and buildings and government and life and death and debates about a higher being.

u tellin me this earth was made so perfect as to create an atmosphere for life that no other place in existence can create, where nature works so perfectly to keep things in rotation between humans, animals, creatures and insects, where you and I have a conscience, and a brain, the ability to tell right from wrong, where the rest of infinite existence has nothing close to this....and u claim it is all chance? that this shit just happened by accident? that the universe created itself, then created the solar system, then created a perfect earth which created human beings with consciences and minds and brains???????
