Based on dominance, achievements, influence, longevity and skillset either Muhammad Ali,Sugar Ray Robinson or Jack Johnson is the Greatest.

who you got? and state why?

Jack Johnson: known as the “Galveston Giant.”....unforgivable Blackness. Wuz the first heavyweight Black Champion. He wuz Muhammad Ali before Muhammad Ali stepped to the scene. Dominant in the ring and revolutionary outside, constantly taunting the white racists bigots.
Ring career: 1897-1928 Record: 77-13-14 (48 KOs) and 19 no-decisions

Sugar Ray Robinson: Was the most complete boxer and inspired the next two or three generations of boxers after him. Robinson retired from boxing with a record of 175-19-6 with 110 knockouts in 200 professional bouts, ranking him among the all-time leaders in knockouts.
Ring career: 1940-65 Record: 175-19-6-2 (109 KOs)

"Someone once said there was a comparison between Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson. Believe me, there's no comparison. Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest."-Sugar Ray Leonard[58]

"The king, the master, my idol."-Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali: imo he is the Greatest fighter ever witnessed in the sport. Reinvented the art of fighting. His combination of speed andathleticism.......the epitome of a champion. Fought and became victorious in one of the most toughest eras in pro boxing.
Ring career: 1960-81 Record: 56-5 (37 KOs)

Sugar Ray Robinson: Dominate reign from lightweight up to middleweight. Ruledd the Welterweight & Middleweight divisions defeating the likes of Tommy Bell x2, Kid Gavilan x2, Fritzie Zivic x2, Sammy Angott x3, Henry Armstrong, Jake LaMotta x5, Randy Turpin, Bobo Olsen, Rocky Graziano, Gene Fullmer, and Carmen Basillio. Arguably the most complete fighting machine to ever grace the ring, truly ahead of his time. It's tough not putting him at the #1 spot.

    robinson-sugar-ray-22.jpg

Harry Greb: If its anyone who has a more rightful claim to #1 its this man. Created the greatest resume EVER with Fights from 147 all the way to Heavy with titles at both 160 and 175. The 1st and only man to defeat the great Gene Tunney. Arguably the greatest 160lb'er ever with wins over the likes of Tiger Flowers x2, Maxie Rosenbloom, Mickey Walker, Tommy Loughran x4, Tommy Gibbons x2, multiple wins over Battling Levinskey and Soldier Bartfield.

    250px-Harry_greb05.jpg

Sam Langford: The Boston Tar Baby was far more talented than he may have led on. He conviently would carry fighters and sometimes throw fights in efforts to receive return bouts. P4P arguably the hardest hitter of all time, being undersized he consistently went up against the giants slaying almost 130 of his 214 opponents. Working his way from 135 to Heavy he gained wins over Sammy McVey, Harry Wills, Kid Norfolk, Gunboat Smith, Philly Jack O'brien, Stanley Ketchel, Joe Jeanette, and Joe Gans.

Ray Robinson is the greatest of all time but tiimes change and it isnt fair to compare eras cuz I know alot of modern boxers would beat the shit out of those white boys back then. Ali is the greatest heavy. Roy, Pea, and Floyd are the best Ive seen in my lifetime

and i'm pretty sure he landed on the list because of the shit that happened outside the ring. in more of a political rallying moment.
but that racist shit holds no bearing on the greatness of a fighter

I loved how Johnson had the white man shook....his outspokeness, arrogance, boldness and how he infuriated and taunted the white race.

When Johnson finally won the title, his victory caused an ideological crisis throughout the U.S. The media whipped up a frenzy around the need for a "A Great White Hope to restore order to the world.

Former champion Jim Jeffries came out of retirement and said, "I am going into this fight for the sole purpose of proving that a white man is better than a Negro. At the fight, which took place in 1910, the ringside band played a song called, "All coons look alike to me, and promoters led the all-white crowd in the chant "Kill the nigger.

But Johnson was faster, stronger and smarter than Jeffries, knocking him out with ease. After Johnson's victory, there were race riots around the country--in Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas and Washington, D.C. Most of the riots consisted of white lynch mobs attempting to enter Black neighborhoods, and Blacks fighting back.

This reaction to a boxing match was the most widespread simultaneous racial uprising in the U.S. until the riots that followed the 1968 assassination of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Black leaders, such as Booker T. Washington, pushed Johnson to condemn African Americans for rioting.

Cosign.....Ali is the GOAT. No one will ever touch him.

Ali defied the racist amerikkkan government and alienated mainstream Amerikkka because he stood up for his principles. he refused induction into the US Army during the height of the war in Vietnam and his boxing license wez suspended. Hiz prime boxing years were taken away from him. He represented the struggle for afrikan americans and afrika. The fact that Best pound for pound fighter joined Nation of Islam at that time had white america shook...fought in the toughest era ever witnessed in boxing....defeated frazier,foreman...
