In 2011....who're more relevant in the Hip Hop community? Nelly or J. Cole

In another thread...it was said that Nelly is more relevant than certain emerging underground artists (e.g. J. Cole). I wanted folks opinions...maybe yall live in different areas but, in Washington, DC...in New York City...the Hip Hop community doesn't give two fucks about Nelly in 2011.

J Cole really but Nelly is a legend . It's like comparing Flloyd Mayweather to Muhammad Ali in terms of relevance , Muhammad Ali aint have a fight in years but his impact is still lasting just like Nelly's.

jigga warrior diversion thread. who dat failed to chart while nelly had a top 10 hit last year. nelly sold more records in his flop than j cole sold last year. nelly had a grammy nomination last year while j cole didnt. nelly still getting burn from that gone song. i havent heard j cole on the radio since last summer. if i dont hear a rapper how is he relevant.

I think if your just talking about 2011 ima say cole. Dude needs to put out an album and all but go to any college campus like i live on and j. cole is 10 times more relevant. White niggas black niggas green niggas yellow niggas everybody bumping him. And in the morning is every bitches favorite fuck song right now currently. In the fall of 2010 it was just a dream but bitches wanna hit it in the morning right now. Plus the nigga cole is gunna be touring with ri ri and currently doing college campuses/regional radio station summer concerts. Nelly ain't got shit for 2011.
