Man that shit is disgusting. YOU ARE IN A FIGHT and you're trying to hug and shake hands. I can't believe trained fighters show such a lack of focus.

LMAO sHANE blocked that first one. Shit has me dyin. That was all instinct.

cuz shane knows better than to not defend yourself when squared up with an experinced fighter who's there to win......

and floyd 1-2'd the shit outta shane.....yet shane was still better preapred than ortiz who got hit....and actually looked at the ref instead of protecting himsefl for the second hit...

    he had time....

it makes no sense for him to not protect himself.....i mean that's like running a red light and being pissed that a mat truck didn't stop instead of punting your car over the traffic light....

even if a crossing guard isthere.. you gonna get out the car like

    "ayo..y u ain't stop that truck?"

    bruh....

same exact scenario...same exact punches thrown
    2qjltnk.gif

only difference is shane is smart enough to defend himself....

Not quite the same situation....Ortiz clearly did something dirty and felt bad about it so he tried to peace it up longer than he needed.....Floyd took advantage and got the W...Mosley had his hand up at least, Ortiz hands were down....again it was Ortiz fault but sucker punches arent illegal

That Du sittin at tony montanas desk and Du inhales in the presence of his cocaina and Tony not expecting that mountain to turn into a molehill.

while Du is sitting there with coke dust in his nostrils.. sittin up there with the "you know who?, me thats who!"
    look on his face

now you ni picking... shane and floyd touched gloves and were told to fight... however even after being told to fight.....shane was trying to talk to floyd... floyd threw a two piece....

shane was stil trying to talk,...floyd threw another punch... shane was like "fuck it.. i see wherre this is going" and decided to fight....

ortiz.....is just an idiot..and stupid shit happens more frequently to stupid people....

shit like that woulda never happened to bhop....and dfeinitely not manny.....

"Don't take advantage Floyd. Give the fool the benefit of the doubt. Make him look less stupid and dont' be so alert next time."

Shit Floyd didn't even piece him up as bad as he could have @ that moment.

I never said it wasnt Ortiz fault ....it just seems like if ur a Floyd fan you dont wanna admit that it was a sucker punch....

    sucker punch
    n. Slang
    An unexpected punch or blow.

    ThesaurusLegend: Synonyms Related Words Antonyms
Noun 1. sucker punch - an unexpected punch
biff, punch, lick, clout, poke, slug - (boxing) a blow with the fist; "I gave him a clout on his nose"

the crazy thing is this definition used boxing as an example lol...

I dont think Ortiz is an idiot.....but what he did wasnt the smartest move and really just showed a lack of experience more than anything but Floyd did throw sucker punches

that nigga was in a ring in front of another fighter after being told "let's go." he allowed the punch to come as an unexpected blow because he's a fool.

A sucker punch on the street usually comes when someone doesn't even realize a fight is about to go down and they're starring in it.

Get in the ring and expect.....punches.

He deserved to lose because of the headbutt? or he deserved to lose amidst a controversy?

No. He deserved to lose because he got caught slipping and because he was the inferior fighter. The knockout was caused by a lack of discipline. Not because of a headbutt.

i thought this was cj for a second

Ortiz fucked up the most...i think we all know this....but Ortiz isnt a dirty fighter which is prolly why he tried to peace it up longer than he should have...which is his mistake and his mistake only....but lets be real here...if Ortiz knew Floyd was the type to take advantage of that, you really think Ortiz woulda been knocked out in the 4th round?? C'mon son...

and EVERYBODY seen the video hundreds of times....and even then theres no majority rule that says Maywether is justified for his sucker punches cause at the end of the day, the video only shows Ortiz's inexperience and overall confusion and Floyd simply taking advantage of it

ortiz should have did his homework

    go to 3:23

Lmao...looks like Skip wasnt the only one who thought Mayweather went out like a bitch with that KO....always good to hear ppl who arent riding Floyd give their honest opinion with no biases towards either fighter...they all acknowledged that the ref fucked up, Ortiz fucked up the most, but the punches were on some sucker shit plain and simple

    skip don't box

When the ref says fight. It doesn't matter if he looks away. The fighters were instructed to fight not hug.

nothing but stans, big fight casual fans, and trolls over there...

i wonder if my name still rings bells...??i should go over there and start some shit about this fight...see who still posts there that remebers me...
  • I'm watchin it right now again, and Victor tried to head butt him in rd 2, then around 2:15 in rd 4, then of course at then end.
  • Matterfact, if you really watch it again, the ref says, let's go, motions his hands together twice, THEN looks away. I just don't think he expected Floyd to ko him like

In the grand scheme of things, the ref wasnt lookin either...mayweather coulda hit him below the belt then hit him with the right and the ref woulda still counted to ten...on the other side of the coin, Ortiz coulda hit him under the belt and finished him cause the ref wasnt lookin...then we would be lynchin Ortiz all year till they fought again...

Mayweather put the fight in jeopardy when the only person that calls the rules ,the ref, wasnt lookin which left opportunity for some bitch shit to happen..in Floyds case, hes a class in the ring so he two pieced him but it was still some sucker punch shit at the end of the day

floyd was going to 2 piece him even if the ref was looking. the ref said lets go and signal them to fight.

floyd was the only person in that ring who was paying attention.

pretty much he turned it all the way up in that 4th round where he was putting combos together and started sitting down..

Floyd landed 27.. ortiz landed 9.. how many of those cleans probably half

You still taking L's on this subject homey... Professional, accomplished boxers (Hopkins, Lewis, Paulie M) agree that Floyd was well within his rights and the rules to clean this dude's clock... you still simpin for Ortiz who began with the dirty tactics 1 minute into the fight by throwing elbows (ironically he was complaining about Floyd's elbows)
