I don't know. "Super High" wasn't exactly huge when Teflon Don was droppin'. I thought it was a dope record, but he caught flack for that song just like he's catching flack for "Touch N You". It was an obvious radio record with an assist from Ne-Yo for radio play, but still a dope song. "BMF" and the Albert Anastasia mixtape are really what put a lot of steam behind Teflon Don. Then of course, after the album was released, "Aston Martin Music" pushed the album passed gold.

With this album, it's kind of the same scenario. His obvious radio record isn't really doing anything to build hype for the album. It's going to be "So Sophisticated" or another street record that he drops before the album that really builds hype for the album. Then the album drops, and a cut from the album pushes the album further.

If this album doesnt outsell Ambition or Sideline Story or TM103 its a flop. AND it fucks up the label. How you gonna run a crew if you arent the highest selling act? (Meek is gonna do better numbers than Wale when he drops).

I Love My Bitches was a dope single that didnt get enough push. Now Ross is in that label trap of looking for a radio hit. After the last 2 years of being "hot" and having "buzz" he shouldnt be fishing for a hit right now.

Of course, nobody on the internet knows anything about sales, so for all I know he's about to go platinum.

Yeah I don't know what the fuck happened between Teflon Don and God Forgives that made him go in a completely different direction. Granted I ain't heard the album yet, but it sounds like he's gone completely left field compared to his previous albums.
