Both albums were announced in '09. Ross dropped Teflon Don in 2010. Jeezy dropped TM103 in 2011. God Forgives ... is Ross's fifth record and Jeezy has yet to drop his fifth album.

    Ross had a valid point in with Jeezy's album being pushed back. I don't really like the beef thing because both could've potentially made much more noise together than being at odds. Jeezy's "F.A.M.E." could've featured a verse from Ross and the Just Blaze produced Ross record could've featured Jeezy. Both could've dropped in December and did bigger numbers. As far the pushbacks, Jeezy had several release dates back in 2010 and it was a minute before another solid date was given. There were several singles released ("Lose My Mind", "Jizzle", "All White Everything", "Ballin", "Shake Life", and "F.A.M.E.") before the album.

    During the time between Jeezy announcing TM103 and droppin' 103, Ross:

    1) secured a venture w/ Warner Bros. and dropped Triple C's
    2) released the gold selling Teflon Don
    3) released MMG's Self Made Vol. 1 which was the catalyst for the success of Wale and helped establish Meek Mill
    4) MMG releases Wale's gold selling Ambition

    Honestly, the winner here is Def Jam. Two artists who make street music are amongst the biggest Rap albums released and neither had a Top 40 hit.

    It was an absolute joy to watch the success-haters and their aliases celebrating a false victory and making a false thread do 10 pages.     I even made some of them so enraged that they name-dropped me and started talking about penises and d*cks. (Pause).

    They were so desperate to turn a Victory into some kind of defeat that they were forced to say GFID failed because Jeezy sold 14-15K more copies so when I informed them that Self Made Vol 2 just did that 14-15K copies they were bragging about they gave up and started crying.

    What Boss wouldnt sacrifice 15K of his solo-sales to see his team get that 15K and eat at the table with him?




    They get very angry when we show unity and regional solidarity because they prefer to see us divided and beefing like when 50-Cent was Hot and running the game...now everybody got some Sea-bass on they plate.
