    yes you a hater, nigga
soulja's impact>>>>>>>>>>>>>>a nigga with "good" music and no impact
to somebody soulja makes good music
so your opinion is irrelevant to his legendary status
you gon deny that lil nigga's accomplishments cuz you don't like his music?
you as bad as the folks that booed outkast at the source awards

You stupid as fuck. I said that nigga made his money, and got himself famous. He used the internet to get a RECORD DEAL with Interscope lol.

You right, to 15 year olds, Soulja make good music lol. But why the fuck would a grown man care about a lil nigga's legendary status? SMH at niggas these days. Bad as the people who booed Outkast? Nigga Outkast made good music, still do. Shit, a lot of South artists make good music. I used to fuck with some of that snap shit too, but that dont mean it's "good" music. Nigga you said Soulja made it so that you aint have to have lyrics in a hit song(dumbest shit I done heard). When has a hit song had lyrics besides back in like the 90s, or on some Jay or Eminem shit? Niggas can give Soulja credit for making some money and staying around, but in my opinion(the only one that matters to me, just like yours obviously only matters to u nigga LOL) he aint no fuckin legend. This is music bruh. MUSIC.

    FOH nigga.

And...Kriss Kross and Bow Wow aren't legends, they're experiments. One was more successful than the other...Jermaine Dupri is a legend. Silkk Da Shocker is not a legend...His brother Percy Miller is.

Kriss Kross and Bow Wow have sold more records than Soulja Boy.

Oh, so Heartless was just void of any meaning and concrete concepts, huh? Those verses were on the same skill level as "She Got a Donk", huh? Okay.

Nope, you not gettin it. Vanilla Ice ain't a legend cause he ain't revolutionize or impact shit. He just sold a lotta records. That don't really mean shit, cause all he was was a knock off M.C. Hammer.

M.C. Hammer is not a one hit wonder, ain't no way you possibly believe that if you were alive in the '90s. The fact that he's a legend shouldn't een be questioned, his face was everywere. He made people all across the country cut they hair like him, dance like him, and wear big ass inflated pajama pants.

Soulja Boy did the same shit with his generation, and he's not a one hit wonder either. He had 3 platinum singles off his first album nigga, wtf? Then he followed those up with "Turn My Swag On" and "Bird Walk" off his second album. After him, there was a wave of lil niggas who wanted to make "Crank Dat *insert random object*" in hopes that they could blow like he did. And then, an artist like Wiz Khalifa or Lil B is a perfect example of a nigga who took Soulja Boy's blueprint to viral success and ran with it. Be real...

I was about to type it again...But that question has already been answered...An artist like Bow Wow or Vanilla Ice's success was notable in terms of sales, but not revolutionary or widely impactful to the point where people started copying their format.

As much as I dislike his music he played a big role in changin hip-hop.
I respect the kid for his beats and his hustle even tho he's just the worst, and one of the corniest rappers I ever seen.

I like how you conveniently forgot Kriss Kross, and how was Soulja Boy more revolutionary than Vanilla Ice or Bow Wow?

soulja boy changed the way niggas get on
how many times does this have to be said?
he changed the way niggas market themselves and he brought in that dance shit
that young nigga, complicated ass dance shit
don't front like it wasn't a crank dat everything after soulja boy
or like every song had some sort of dance to go with it
even had new york puttin sodas on the side

Lil Bow Wow and Kris Kross before him changed the way labels looked at young teenage rappers.

They paved the way for rappers like Lil Zane, Lil Romeo and Soulja Boy himself.

Don't front like it wasn't 'Jump Jump' everything after Kris Kross or every teenager wasn't singing along to Bow Wow(Thats My Name)

Even had grow ups saying 'Bow Wow Yippe Yo Yippe Yay where my dawgs at, bark with me now' or 'Jump Jum don't this beat make you wanna Jump Jump'

Also unlike Soulja Boy Bow Wow managed to maintain his success for more than 1 album, his first album went triple plat, his second plat, his 3rd Gold, his fourth album Plat agai and his fifth album Gold. So its clear he wasn't just a fad, he had a long run of sucess where he was going platinum or Gold very few rappers period have that type of run.

Kriss Kross first album went 4 times plat, 2nd album plat and last album Gold, again had more of a run than Soulja Boy and just as much infleunce.

Also rappers were already using Myspace and Youtube to broadcast their talent before Soulja Boy came on the scene, at one time Myspace was the biggest social networking site around, a host of rappers and singers were using it as an outlet to get their music out there. Also haven't you heard of Dem Franchize Boys||? They were doing that whole rapping dancing shit before Soulja Boy came on the scene, and like Soulja Boy had platinum and Gold singles, Soulja Boy is a fad, a novelty act, and thankfully that novelty has worn off, his last album didn't sell more than 15,00 copies in its first week lol, i mean even Bow Wow did better numbers than that.
