My 2nd Favorite is The Fix. Face did his thing

I would have to say The Eminem Show, slim was in top form lyrically, his songs had some kind of message and there was the perfect amount of cynical humor

My second would be The Black album, Jay went out on top, the singles were all hard and I swear ive played Public Service Announcement so many times in my car when I first got my system lol

Third would be The College Dropout, Kanye West was on some real shit, the produciton was on point and almost every song was a banger

My fourth would be Get Rich or Die trying, I just remember that shit everywhere, the albums has so many classics

G.R.I.P. Money $$$

Damn, top of the last decade list, Kendrick Lamar? That's some feat he's had this past year...

In my opinion, the greatest album of the last decade is Masta Ace's A Long Hot Summer.

To me, it represents everything great about hip hop. It gives you the feel of a season, the same way that Common Sense's Resurrection did. It had that NY Boom Bap that Illmatic had. It had the concept that is possibly one of the greatest to this day and lyrically, Masta Ace was at the top of his game. A modern day classic if I've ever heard one, A Long Hot Summer is that damn good.
