5 wasn't bad, it just wasn't a survivor-horror game; they made it more of an action game. If they make the next one like that, then they fucked it up

Nice thread that RE1 remake on gamecube was the best resident evil I ever played (besides 4). Zero was the weakest only beat it to say I did

was a great series.They lost it on 5.It was not a resident evil game and had the anti climatic fight against Wesker.2 and Code Veronica were my fav although 1 is a classic(even though it has some of the worst voice acting ever lol)

I think the hardest ones I ever played out of the series were Code Veronica & RE 4. The best out of the entire series was Resident Evil 2 now that game defined horror in gaming. Now part 3 was kind of too easy to beat I don't think it was challenging enough.

RE 4 was the best one I played.

RE 5 was cool, but some of the scenes had me shaking my head.

How can Chris land a perfect head-shot on someone who is operating a gun turret on a moving boat, which is more than 20-30 feet away, while ducking for cover in the process, yet he can't shot Excella who's less than 10 feet away from him?

And how in the hell did the Uroboros (on the first encounter) kill more than 14 soldiers who are fully equipped, yet 2 people take it out with ease?

(The weapons you have access to are the best in any of the games though).

They should have did a spin-off with Wesker only. Something like Batman Arkham Asylum, where you only play as a fully powered up Wesker.

its a toss up between replay value, story and game play.........1, 2 and 4 story is the best "even doe i never finished 4".....but 5 replay value plus co-op ethers.......

I played 5 once, beat it, and never touched it again... its the worst of all of em

I beat RE4 at least 20 times and I can still play it thru till this day and have fun... RE 2 & 4 had the best replay value ... oh and so did 3
