I've been playing these games since Morrowind 3, I think it was called, and the best part is still hacking the shit out of the magic, stamina, health, and skill sets. I remember in Oblivion creating a spell that would take everyone's clothes off, drain their health, and make their corpses glow in some crazy-ass radius. Gonna upgrade the video card and do the same this time around too.

Looks like they finally invested some proper time in the fighting engine, and that's what's up.

Quick question, never played any of these games (Morrow Wind & Oblivion). Can you switch between 1st and 3rd person view on the fly? Or is this pretty much a 1st person RPG. It looks as if all the fighting is done in 1st person view.

You can but it suck in 3rd person.... Skyrim seems to have fixed the problem though

I just hope Bethesda does Fallout 4 right. And by "right", I mean learn a thing or two from Mass Effect 2. (notice how EVERY convo in Fallout/Oblivion uses the same "mugshot" camera angle? notice how every convo in Mass Effect 2 uses multiple cinematic camera angles? yeah.)

Some people are on the fence about buying certain games, so they watch the gameplay to see if they might like it. Personally, if it's a game I already know I'm gonna buy, I can't watch other people play due to the spoilers.

I guess between the years in advance announcement of games followed by countless trailers, previews, features, demos, reveals, hands ons, panels, etc etc etc I just don't know how anyone could possibly be "on the fence" about any game these days.
