There's all kinds of theories: Meteor hitting the planet wiping them out, their unablity to adapt to the change in climate of the planet, other animals at the time eating dinosaur eggs that were left unguarded causing them not to be able to birth new ones. I think it's a combination of all the above. Obviously they were here WAY before we were, so with dinos being here for 65 million years isn't a stretch. I believe that more than I believe our planet and the entire universe being created in six days by some long bearded hippie that came out of nowhere
