    D. Wade is out tonight but Mike Miller is available. Spo is playing the schedule...he knows the Celtics and Bulls are coming up so he's affording Wade some rest

I need the Pistons to beat you guys tonight, make up for the Bulls loss. I know it's a long shot though

Jones has shot 43.4 percent from 3-point range this season and has appeared in 41 games.

I wonder if Spo will start making new tweaks to the rotation now that the playoffs are approaching...Jones should be in the rotation...he's almost automatic from 3
  • Damn w/ the baseball finally here, I stopped caring about NBA, haven't watched a game in a week or two.
S/N I will laugh when we win the chip, and all the haters get emotional that they don't have nothing to say about Bron.

Idk at this point because currensy is great from three but his defense is a lil shaky. I could see him getting some of battier's mins if miller was still out but miller is back now and he provides what Jones brings and he rebounds the ball well.

And I think I would take Battier over Jones in the rotation just because of his defense which will be of use in the playoffs.

One person who I can see falling out the rotation or getting less mins is cole.

Cole is definitely out of the rotation lol. I doubt he gets any minutes in the playoffs...Terrel Harris might get his minutes

    LeBron James 11-23 FG | 13-14 FT | 7 REB |7 AST | 36 PTS | -6
    GRADE A-

After a pair of LeBron slam dunks at the start, it seemed like the Heat were destined for another big win at home. But the baskets didn't come so easily after that. Although he was the game's leading scorer, James struggled to put his imprint on it in the closing minutes. But this defeat was on Bosh and Wade.

    Dwyane Wade 9-21 FG | 2-4 FT | 2 REB | 5 AST | 20 PTS | +8
    GRADE C

Where was Wade in the second half? Besides picking up technical fouls, that is. The Celtics were practically laying down a red carpet to the rim in the first half, leading to dunk after dunk after dunk from Wade. That all changed after halftime. Wade tried to take over in the fourth quarter with LeBron sitting, but he vanished when the Heat needed him.

    Chris Bosh 5-13 FG | 3-5 FT | 9 REB | 1 AST | 13 PTS | +12
    GRADE C-

At least he woke up in the fourth quarter, but by then it was too late. Bosh was once again dominated by Kevin Garnett, flipping the script on their meeting in last year's playoffs, when Bosh enjoyed the upper hand. Perhaps Bosh will figure it out come playoff time, but so far this season he hasn't looked comfortable when he shares the court with LeBron and Wade.

    Mario Chalmers 6-9 FG | 3-4 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 18 PTS | -5
    GRADE A-

While everyone will likely focus on Rajon Rondo's dissecting the Heat's defense, don't sleep on Chalmers' performance. The Heat have been desperate for someone to space the floor next to the Big Three and Chalmers was their guy on Tuesday (3-for-5 from 3), especially in the second half. Keeping his mistakes to a minimum, Chalmers was the definition of an X factor. Too bad it was in a losing effort.

    Boston Celtics
    GRADE A-

Rondo does it again. The Celtics put on a clinic in the first half, setting a franchise record against the Heat with 65 points before halftime. Cuts, passes, shots, you name it -- sharp as a razor. Sure, their suffocating defense took the night off, but who cares when the offense can't be stopped? They were simply unconscious from the perimeter.

Last year Boston was 3-1 in the season series against Miami and its funny seeing the same comments this year that I saw last year (Bosh is soft, Wade fucking up, LeBron not clutch etc etc) till the playoffs when Miami went 4-1 against Boston....

I guess we need something to talk about during the regular season, but let's be real here....regular season play is not always indicitive of how a team performs in the playoffs....tthe fact that some of these complaining ass niggas forget this simple fact is beyond me...

Miami is gonna make a conscious decision to crash the boards in the Chicago series, because if we control the board we will easily beat Chicago. Their offense is not good enough to outscore Miami, they will get points off offensive boards and what not. If you can neutralize Noah, i think the Heat will beat them 4-1.

Heat perimeter defender will need to stick Deng, Korver, Rose at the perimeter and don't leave them open. Hopefully Bosh, Toriat, Haslem and Anthony can control the boards.

Hopefully Chalmers can do is job and defend a point guard come playoff, it's bad enough that Wade and Lebron has to carry the offense, the least you should be able to do is give a defensive effort on Rose or Rondo.

The Heat wont be crashing the boards on the Bulls. Bosh will not dominate like he did last year. Wade seems to always struggle against the Bulls, the series going 6 or 7 games in Chicago's favor

If you say so, the Heat have the versatility with Battier now to rest Wade or Lebron on defense. Lebron will clamp down on Rose again and Battier will chase around Hamilton which will give Wade rest on defense. Chicago still have the same tired ass issues from last year when they don't have no one outside of Rose who can create shots. I don't expect Wade to have an poor offensive series like he did last year. Miami will beat Chicago in 5 games, games will be close though.

Tell Rose not to freeze up at the freethrow line again.

the celts were burying every shot they put up. they were shooting over 60%. no other team has shot more than 55%. add to that mike miller was non-existent, christina disappeared. solid play by chalmers and lebron though. we'll see them again one more time before the regular season is over. hopefully the outcome will be different

    1. Fact or Fiction: The Heat are still the favorites to rep the East in Finals.

Tom Haberstroh: Fact. As impressive as they've been without Derrick Rose, I'm not sold that the Bulls are in any better position to triumph over the Heat than they were a year ago -- especially with Rose dealing with an assortment of nagging injuries.

Michael Wallace: Fact. What's really changed since the beginning of the season, when many felt the Heat were the favorites to come out of the East and get back to the Finals? Miami is the defending conference champs, and Chicago must still prove it can win a seven-game series against this team. Regardless of the outcome of tonight's game, that won't change.

Brian Windhorst: Fact. I know that this absolutely drives the Bulls fans crazy because they correctly point out how well they've played even without the league MVP. Trying to be objective on this and when considering how a playoff game usually unfolds, I still think the Heat having both LeBron and Wade plus the ability to assign LeBron to guard Rose in late-game situations gives them the advantage in a playoff setting. I freely admit that it's a loose assumption and possibly based on old analysis but that is the way I see it now.
