Whats up with using the excuse "yea...but the album was musical!"??

Just like the word "swag" ...."musical" is making its rounds on forums everywhere. I was talking to this dude last night sayin eh the raps were kinda corny but he says oh son that album was musical.... the fuck?

i understand hip-hop has changed and all that...just dont use excuses for weak verses son....just...dont

I guess more so on the production tip...especially if they used more live instrumentation..thats just my take
