its hard to think of anyone besides Ja whose fanbase (fickle or not) did a complete 360 on him.

a rapper not only came along and insulted & demeaned him, but ended up adapting his own hook-singing-gimmick. once that rapper blew up off hype & sold more .... it was a wrap.
