    Starks
    Lannisters
    Greyjoys
    Baratheon
    Targeryen

are the main houses in the show as of now
Ok so who is that dude that acted like he was loyal to stark but was paid off by the lannisters that tyrian busted out going to click up with?

SO the targeryen were on the throne at first and then The greyjoys took over. The greyjoys were friends with the starks and they later on got into it and the starks took over. The lannisters were friends with the starks but then they took over.

    Is this correct?

So Greyjoy has only been gone for 9 years right? Let me know if I missed anything, because how can he not know anything about his sister...it's only been 9 years. Not like he been gone his entire life, and his sister looks way past her pre-teen years.

And what's the deal with the redhead? I'm trying to figure that character out...especially after she gulped that cup of poison like it was nothing. She a sorceress or something?

LMAO @ Tyrion telling that ad visor that he should try the hooker's "fish pie" and she responded that he probably doesn't like fish pie.

Well Varys doesn't have a penis so he probably doesn't.

Its weird but I wanna hear the story of why he is a eunnich. They alluded to it in the first season but nothing too clear.

Bron is basically a sellsword you pay him money and he does the killing the for you. Cat payed him to take Tyrion to be judged by the Tullys and Bron seeing that there was more money to be made by supporting Tyrion fought for him in a trial by combat. Ever since then they basically been together on the necessity that House Lannister keeps paying him gold.

The Targaryens were on the throne but then Jaime killed the king because he was crazy after that happened their family got run out of westeros. After that Robert Baratheon took over the throne and then he got killed which sets up Joffrey but creates a contention for the seat because hes not really a baratheon.

The Greyjoys are nothing they tried to rebel early on for some reason(I don't remember right now) and got smacked down and Baylon got Theon taken away from him as a hostage so he wouldn't get aggy anymore.

As of right now on the show you got a couple of those dothraki woman/slaves that was getting fucked at Dany's wedding.
    You got shae
    You got Cersei
    You got asha

Most of them look good in a dirty sort of way.

Naw, I saw the 1st season but that shit was like a fucking year ago. A nigga be forgetting shit and I wasn't too clear of what was going on back then. It's mainly because of how they talk, hella people involved, me watching other shows, and they don't really explain a lot of shit in enough detail.

Thanks bruh. I forgot dude was the one who escorted tyrion to starks wife sister. That's why tyrion didn't trust him because he sold out the starks and the baratheons for some gold. tyrion is like the smartest dude on the show. I think he plotting to take over everything and he probably could do it too.

OH!, so all the clans were all cool with each other at one time. So it all fell apart when a lannister(jamie) killed the king cause he was a nut case. The greyjoys are basically just a fucked up power hungry clan who tried to take over. jamie laninister and his sister fucked each other, had joffery, made up a lie that joffery was fathered by rob baratheons son who died. All so they could take over the crown? is this correct?

Ok I'm clear on that part now. But what did the targaryens do after the lannister killed their king? How were they ran off and by who, the other clans? And why was ned stark a traitor again? lol. why was jamie being treated like a little bitch by robert baratheon? is it because he was cool with the crazy targaryen king? I remember rob was talking to ned about the lannisters doing some dirt to both of their clans in the past but I can't remember what it was.

I Think they didn't know if this show would last past one season so they just stuffed the 1st season full of shit and jumped right into the story.

see, this is that bull shit i'm talking about?

    1. way too many fucking people introduced in one season.
    the white walkers
witches/weird people that live on the outskirts of the land.
crazy ass delthraki warriors who scared to cross water
    all of the clans
    bastard sons
    The night watch
    starks handicapped kid having visions
wolves, lions, tiger, bears, oh my!!

    2. waaay to much shit that happened in the past that was just briefly talked about in heavy European tongue(couldn't understand half of that shit). maybe they are gonna do like Spartacus and have a prequel?

Idk bruh, I don't think its that difficult. Yes its a lot going on but if you know who belongs to which family its easier. Ironically as much as you think they squished into season 1 they left out a lot to condense it.

You should check out the info on the HBO.com website gives you a whole run down without spoiling anything.

    Lol @ fish pie.

Btw fuck the new version of this site, the desktop version for some reason is not compatible with my htc and the mobile version leaves out way too many online tools.

Had this response for paperplane bit it wouldn't post.. smh

if you think a lot happened in this show you have no idea how complicated these books are, i was re-reading chapters like crazy.....

Jamie was part of the Kingsguard sworn to protect the King, who was Targaryen at the time (The Mad King) and when Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark rebelled they were winning by a large margin so Jamie just killed the king to be on the winning side (and now they call him The Kingslayer).

Jamie and Cercie Lannister had been fucking long before she was the Queen married to Robert. Having children with her brother wasnt exactly a plan to take over, it just so happened it worked out that way. Because if no one ever found out Joffrey and the other children were born from incest, their last names would always be Baratheon anyway.

Ned was considered a traitor because he wouldnt acknowledge that Joffrey was the true heir to the throne (which he obviously wasnt) The Hand before Ned, Jon Arryn, found out the same thing and was looking for all of Robert's bastards...which is why he was killed.

The dothraki and many other tribes across the sea and in Pentos dont really care what happens with the Kingdoms in Westeros, it doesnt affect them much. (I can answer other questions about these people if need be)

As for Beyond the Wall, yeah its not really explained if the white walkers come because of the cold or vice versa, however a strong winter is coming so along come the walkers, while at the same time an army of wildlings is forming beyond the wall.

the whole thing is supposed to be everybody in shambles fighting each other while they SHOULD be concerned with whats happening beyond the wall...

hopefully that helps clear some things up @deepeastoaklandp

Thanks bruh I needed that, shit is clear now. I gave you a goat. I noticed the people that have everything clear are people who read the books. I had to rewind a couple of scenes to fully understand what was going on. Like when they just showed robert talking shit about fucking jamie sister to him. Then right after that they showed jamie and her fucking each other, starks kid catching them and jamie pushing him out the window. I was like, what just happened?

one last thing though, what you just posted just opened up more questions. Did neds wife sisters husband(former hand of the king) really die of sickness or was he really murdered? They never went in detail about that and it was briefly mentioned.

So jamie and his sister are just sick weirdos and jofrey was a result of that. So basically they are both a tad bit mentally unstable. Because You can clearly tell his sister is hiding some crazy in her. Also tyrian seems to be hinting at her mental stability with him taking control of things now. Jamie seems like he just don't give a fuck about nothing but himself. And did you just say the brother and sister have children? so there's more than joffery...aw hell naw!!!!

Did the the crazy targaryan king take over their clans(barathean/starks) or some shit to make them rebel? Or was he just bat shit crazy and doing fucked up shit to their clans?

  • Matt-Matt- Posts: 15,374
I'd love to have a season devoted to things that happened before season 1....if that's even possible

Poison. They were hinting at it when Ned was talking to Pycelle(the old guy that gave him that thick book). Cant remember the exact words, but it was something like "poison is a womans weapon. A womans and a eunuch."

War started when the king killed neds brother and father. Supposedly they shot a flashback scene showing how it happened, but it didn't make the final cut. Cant find the screenshot of it though.

http://towerofthehand.com/ < Good reference site. I think they block off everything and let you decide if you want to see spoilers. Just have to select how far into things you are.
  • jonlakadeadmicjonlakadeadmic Posts: 4,614
as far as Ned's brother and father...in the book there is no chapter or even situation where you read its happening, its just mentioned just liked it is in the show (George R.R. Martin, the author, hints at A LOT of things in the past)

Yeah, the former hand was killed by poison because he realized that Jamie and Cercei were fucking each other...they have 3 children...Joffrey, Tommen and a daughter I cant remember her name...all of which are thought to be Rober Baratheon's

Ned n them rebelled because dude was bat shit crazy pretty much, he fucked up everything along with killing Neds kin
