I think Zimmerman initiated the fight, got his ass beat, and shot Treyvon. When the police got there; there was visible evidence that Zimmerman had just had his shit handed to him, and a witness(es) who confirmed they saw Zimmerman getting the beatdown. At this point, all Zimmerman--who police were familiar with and knew he was on the neighborhood watch--had to do was get the police to think that he was simply out performing his "duty" when attacked by Treyvon.

So with evidence of an ass beating, a witness to an ass beating, and nothing suggesting Zimmerman (who they were positively biased toward) was the aggressor at the time; they concluded that this fell under the "stand your ground" law.

There are witnesses that say Zimmerman was on top of the boy and straddling him when the shot was made. In either case, even if the boy was beating Zimmerman, why was he stalking the boy? Why was he following him if he wasn't committing a crime?? In fact the police told Zimmerman to NOT FOLLOW THE GUY. Zimmerman followed him ANYWAY. Zimmerman needs to be arrested and charged as soon as possible. Otherwise, I support street justice 100%.

This woman didn't see what happened. All she SAW was zimmerman on top after hearing a shot. She did not see the shot, she heard it. Afterwards Zimmerman could of been on top of Trayvon as he rolled off of him when he died.I wouldn't think he would run after getting into an altercation, firing his weapon, and killing someone. In fact that is what you expect a criminal to do. He more likely would stand around freaking out he just killed someone which seems like whath appened.

I'll take the witness who saw what happened before the gunshot word over this woman. Secondly, according to the police she gave a different account before she went to the media. One guy gives an account before the media circus and publicity and then these women come out after the media circus. Who do you think is going to be more up front about what happened?

By the way, someone found his Twitpic account last night and found some more pictures of the "little bright eyed boy" that we keep seeing in the media. He has some heft to his body frame that again, if him and zimmerman got into a fight he had the potential to put some hurt on zimmerman.

Here is what most likely happen when you take all the emotionally charged bullshit and media circus out of the whole equation. Yes Zimmerman most likely profiled him because his hoodie and being black. However, his description fit the profile of robbery suspects in the area. He became overzealous and chased him down to find out what he was up to however this is not a crime. When he confronted Trayvon, Trayvon reacted how I think anyone would act which is ask him why he was following him. They somehow end up in a confrontation however Trayvon went overboard and was probably trying to beat the living shit out of him. It got to a point where Zimmerman either can let him beat him unconscious or to death or defend himself. End of story.

I find this more probable as we find out that he isn't this quiet suburbanite kid like the media is portraying him to be but most likely your typical ghetto culture following thug wannabe and anyone without bias in favor that culture will tell you that people who typically follow it are quick to anger and violence at the slightest thought of being disrespected.

I'll take the witness who saw what happened before the gunshot word over this woman. Secondly, according to the police she gave a different account before she went to the media. One guy gives an account before the media circus and publicity and then these women come out after the media circus. Who do you think is going to be more up front about what happened?

To be honest this whole case was fucking botched by the police that if they ever do arrest this guy and bring him to trial his lawyer is going to have a lot of wiggle-room to get that shit thrown out.

The police never really had an interest in witnesses since they never intended to do an investigation or make an arrest.

I think Zimmerman initiated the fight, got his ass beat, and shot Treyvon. When the police got there; there was visible evidence that Zimmerman had just had his shit handed to him, and a witness(es) who confirmed they saw Zimmerman getting the beatdown. At this point, all Zimmerman--who police were familiar with and knew he was on the neighborhood watch--had to do was get the police to think that he was simply out performing his "duty" when attacked by Treyvon.

So with evidence of an ass beating, a witness to an ass beating, and nothing suggesting Zimmerman (who they were positively biased toward) was the aggressor at the time; they concluded that this fell under the "stand your ground" law.

Sure, but the "stand your ground" law prohibits arrests of individuals that appear to meet the requirements:

They simply felt he met the requirements and had nothing suggesting that the force was unlawful at the time.
