Hmmm...dude can spit but he's not top 10 or 15, probably not even top 20.
He only had 1 album worth discussing but Ma$e was nice. I think he's underrated, niggas act like he's Nelly or some shit but I wouldn't rank him that high.

I also wouldn't use his G-Unit material to make an argument about his talent either but...whatev.

I cant give him a number ranking cause his career was just too inconsistent. I think when Biggie died he lost his heart and motivation. Harlem world was fire as well as any of the early stuff. when your around cats like Biggie, the Lox, Black Rob, and Big L you have no choice but to come correct. I thought he was nice with what i called the baby talk style. That was his lane.

Yo he wasn't the greatest nigga on the mic but he made good songs. Like he could get away with sayin simple shit but b/c his flow was so crisp he could make the simplest lines sound amazing. Kinda like 50 Cent and sometimes Kanye West. Ma$e was dope but I think he lost folks when he made that comeback album with no cuss words. If he came back with classic Ma$e shit like the shit he was doin before with Bad Boy, folks wouldn't of given up on him.

He was a problem until Diddy got his hands on him...never really messed with him once he was with Bad Boy. I always thought dude could spit though. He was the best in the Children of the Corn (Mase, Big L, Cam'ron, Herb McGruff) to me.
