cuz i've been speaking english since 10. my mother and older relatives still have accents tho. like arnold schwarzenegger, the older you are when you learn english, the harder it is to lose an accent

I know a good amount of Africans that have been speaking English as well as their local tongue all their life, and have lived in the U.S. since the ages of 6-12 (21-27 now). They all have noticeable accents.
