Never understood why Miami spends so little on their football program.

They have the location, history, and means to dominate the southeast and cherry pick the rest of the country every year.

Like how they strong armed Jeremy Shockey's bitch ass from Oklahoma.

Funny how he bypassed OU cause he felt he had a better chance to win there, but OU won a title in his college years before Miami did.

Another example of how OU doesn't automatically get all the best in-state talent.

But I remember we recruited him hard when Stoops first got to OU.

Oh well, fuck dat snitch.

There has been a couple of times the different presidents of the school wanted to cut football. Mainly for all the bad press it was getting back in the day and because they wanted the school to be known for more than just the football team.

I don't know quite what to make of his rants though. He's seems to be one of those guys that have to mentally psyche themselves up to perform. Guess it comes from being told he was too small all the time.
