    never thought pharoahe was THAT nice either. and there are straight foward lyricists who know how to write potent enough to where they make up for not having double entendres etc.

    LMFAO at Ice Cube and Face having better writing skills than any of those dudes i listed (maybe Jay E). It's much harder to execute a concept and song writing while maintaining top shelf lyricism than writing some basic shit.     Personally Speaking I think Lupe Fiasco is fucking trash he aint that nice and his albums are lackluster. And no none of Lupe shit fucks with Ice Cube classics... Jay E hasnt dropped an album you overating the fuck outta him as well.

    Pharoahe Monch is dope but as ill as his shit is Eternal Affairs, Desire and WAR are not on the level of Amerikkka's Most, Predator or Lethal Injection.

    SMH i almost stopped reading when you said Lupe is trash, but i'll entertain you. Lyrically Ice Cube albums aren't on par with none of Lupes album, i won't deny the fact that Cube's classic have had a bigger impact though.

    Cube and Face appealed to basic niggas, same for Pac. They weren't and aren't technicians to me, to me dudes like Nas, Jay, Lupe,etc push thought and maximize their words. To use it in a analogy you will understand, Jay/Nas/Lupe,etc are like painters who use all the paint colors on a palette, dudes like Cube/Face stick to 3-4 colors.

    I'll take a Lupe, Jay, Jay E, Pharoahe Monche,etc over any straight forward lyricist anyday.

    Yet none of them have the catalouge or writing skills of say Ice Cube and Scarface who didnt have the verbal gymnastics as you mentioned but to me made better albums and songs.

    LMFAO at Ice Cube and Face having better writing skills than any of those dudes i listed (maybe Jay E). It's much harder to execute a concept and song writing while maintaining top shelf lyricism than writing some basic shit. Don't fucking act like Jay-z, Lupe,etc don't have classic albums and songs that's not on the same level as Face or Cube.



    Personally Speaking I think Lupe Fiasco is fucking trash he aint that nice and his albums are lackluster. And no none of Lupe shit fucks with Ice Cube classics... Jay E hasnt dropped an album you overating the fuck outta him as well.

    Pharoahe Monch is dope but as ill as his shit is Eternal Affairs, Desire and WAR are not on the level of Amerikkka's Most, Predator or Lethal Injection.

    Cube and Face spoke on real shit without having to rely on double meanings...

    anybody can speak on real shit, but not everybody can drop verses like "deja vu" or "can i live" or "real recognize real"(some of nas, jay, and lupe's best work".

    Lupe Fiasco has 3 gold albums, i hate to burst your bubble but he is more relevant than Cube and Face. If you sell more than 500k albums you are appealing to more than internet nerds.

    No other nigga has done it like Jay because of the longevity.. But c'mon Big and Pac?... Them niggaz was going Diamond and shit.. Classic Albums.. Ground breaking material.. You cannot just overlook that cuz it happened 20 years ago..

    Maybe I am living in the past.. I dont know.. But to this day.. Life After Death is one of the only Albums that I can play straight through... And I am a day 1 Jay Z fan.. I knew about Jay early because DJ Chubby Chub from Original Flavor is from my block.. But as good as Jay has been and as consistent as he has been.. He hasnt made an album better than Life After Death in my opinion.. And thats not a Knock on Jay.. The only person with an album up there is Pac.. With All Eyez On Me...

    If Big was alive today.. He would still run the game because he had vision and talent.. A lot of the shit that Jay ended up doing were things that Biggie planned on doing.. Jay and Big spoke every damn day.. They were thick as thieves..

    Hence me sayin Jay took the baton and ran with it..

    We werent at Least I wasnt talking about relevancy. The point remains Jay-z in his Prime is not the best and while Cube and Face not the super lyrical MC still made better albums, greater impact on hiphop and songs that universally hailed as classics Lupe cant say the same. Get over it.
