The answer to the question is that it's yet to be seen. All of his albums are feature heavy. I don't think it's a knock against him especially in the current climate of Hip Hop where most every album released is feature heavy.

I would like a Ross album that wasn't feature heavy. Having someone sing the hooks and maybe two rap features tops would be dope.

13/57 of his songs were just him, and imo thats pretty bad for someone who is supposed to be a solo artist.

Rick Ross probably could hold a hold album if he talked about how he was a c.o. But for him to talk about all the dope he sold and he never was no big time drug dealer I wouldn't listen to him on the simple fact he is not being real. I only listen to rappers who really are what they represent.

Nah I dont think so but what u have to ask is - does it matter if the quality of music is good ? Maaan Ross is like a maestro & like a maestro he relies on his orchestra to play as one and follow his lead so that the song carries. Besides I think Ross does a good job at it - Stay Schemin, Im On One, Maybach Music 3, Super High Remix, Ambition, Aston Martin Music. I know theres a lot of niggas who do it with the collabos but none of them sound as good.

Most albums nowadays got maaad features anyways and for the longest time its been like that. But as long as the music is good Im happy.

Funny tho cuz Fat Joe used to do this too & no one complained, lets hope Ross is smart enough to diversify in style and create a new medium for niggas or his stardom will fade just like Fat Joe.
