The racist tweets aren't a hockey issue its a black athlete issue. These cowardly tweeters are just taking advantage that hockey at its current state is mostly white. The same shit happened to my uncle in suburban boston when he played basketball and most of the local basketball teams were mostly white. And a large chunk of theses tweeters have been traced to places far from boston which shows you they are oppritunist trolls.

White people still feel the same way about the NBA being mostly black now which is why some "prefer" the college game. Its also why people went extra hard on hating mike vick after the dogfighting shit. But the fact people are saying this shit also means that black hockey players are making more of an impact now.

Our canadian neighbors seem to be slightly less racist as well than many ignorant american hockey fans. Even the incident with the banana peel thrown was found to be an american detriot red wing fan that traveled and hour north to canada to watch an exhibition game between the flyers and red wings.

I had not issue with the goalie doing that and I fucking hate the bruins as a rival flyers fan. While it was selfish i can't knock someone for disliking the general government system. Cause hell the democrats are using the shit outta obama because he is black which in my opinion is just as bad as people who strongly dislike obama. He never said he agree with Obamas views he said he disagreed with both parties.
