Was he critical of Destiny? Yes he was. But it was from things she did. Should he had aired it out on a song? Maybe not but he chose this way to express his feelings on the situation. I'm sure he told her about the song and said he was going to address it cause of how embarrassed he was about the situation. But if you really listen to the song it's like he's disappointed in Destiny's actions but explaining to her in a way like "It's ok though baby girl cause it's clear I wasn't the best father I could be" It was that honesty which makes the song not him airing out Destiny.
