To be objective why i don't like Da Slim Shady Alter Ego/Persona Songs & just Emotional/Deep Eminem

I don't find Shock Value Music entertaining i feel if i wanna be entertained i will listen to a club Song, party Song, catchy Song i don't feel Shock Value is entertaining to hear.


I don't get the hype about Lyrics about serial killing, incest, rape, killing etc to me that is not good to hear.


Substance is essential to me and Lyrics with good Content.


I feel Shock Value Music is gimmicky and Em admitted himself his Slim Shady Character Songs are just a gimmick.


I like Music i can relate to.


Musically it gets annoying.

Eminem aka Marshall Mathers is his Deep side that is about people relating to his Music that been through things he has, expressing his pain, expressing emotion and Music with Substance for people who been through the struggles he Rapping about. While Slim Shady is a crazy gimmick an Alter Ego that Raps about crazy, weird things to piss the world off

Ems is at his best when he uses a little bit of both styles on his song. For example "Brain Damage," real life events overexagerrated with some shock content.

Other songs that comes to mind, "Deja Vu," and "97 Bonnie & Clyde."
