WWE Raw tonight

The last Raw Supershow before Sunday’s Over The Limit PPV takes place from Pittsburgh, PA.

Confirmed for tonight’s show is an appearance by John Cena plus an angle between Big Show as John Laurinaitis has demanded he apologize for last week. Laurinaitis will also be featured with his John Cena feud as they prepare for their Over the Limit match.

Triple H will also be appearing live tonight to address the Brock Lesnar attack. WWE is teasing an altercation between Triple H and Paul Heyman. WWE is not advertising Lesnar for tonight’s show.

On another note, Christian is advertised for tonight’s show. It’s not yet known if he will return tonight.

Other superstars and divas advertised for tonight include CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Lord Tensai, Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres and more.

WWE is also expected to begin the full force campaign for A Revolution Is Coming tonight.

How WWE realised their error regarding Big Show’s contract

WWE slipped up on Raw last night when John Laurinaitis said he re-signed Big Show on Saturday, before the Over the Limit pay-per-view. They later realised the error and fixed it saying Show and Laurinaitis had a verbal agreement until he signed the contract on Monday morning.

F4W reports that the error was actually in the Raw script. WWE didn’t realise the error until fans went crazy on Twitter and corrected them. They then had Michael Cole correct the error on TV.

Cody Rhodes taking time out?

Cody Rhodes appears to be taking a hiatus from action after losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Christian on Sunday at Over the Limit. He stated Monday via Twitter, “Time off.”

There has been no confirmation of this as of writing

According to current plans, the reveal for the ”A Revolution Is Coming” will happen next week on Raw.

It is almost certain to be the debut of Dean Ambrose.

Backstage heat on Lilian Garcia

Following several introduction mistakes at Over the Limit last night, there is said to be quite a bit of backstage heat on Lilian Garcia for the amount of mistakes she’s made since returning to the company late last year.

Last night alone, she announced Sheamus as weighing 227 pounds when he actually weighs 267 pounds and she announced Hunico as wrestling when it was in fact Comacho in action.

Over the past few weeks, she also has made several more mistakes such as announcing Zack Ryder as Jack Swagger.

After the mistakes last night, there was reported to have been an altercation between Lilian and Raw ring announcer Justin Roberts where she stormed out of the arena.

Chris Jericho was recently interviewed with The Sun newspaper in the UK. He talks about the cryptic videos, matches with CM Punk and more. Here are some highlights:

Pitching the Punk feud to Vince McMahon

“I went to meet with Vince in August to discuss working Wrestlemania with Punk.

“I knew we could do something with the ‘best in the world’ thing, and it amped up really well with the alcohol thing.

“It’s all about the storyline to get you to the match and I thought both matches were great.

“All that I care about is that I walked out of both of them feeling very vindicated and very happy with both.

“They were both excellent matches to add to my résumé.

“There were people that thought our match at Wrestlemania was the best.

“We didn’t have the attraction vibe that the other two matches had. The Rock is an attraction at this point. The Undertaker’s streak is an attraction.

“Punk and Jericho was just your good old-fashioned wrestling match for a title.

“The other matches were amazing too. That some people said we had the best match on the show, I was very proud of that.”

“They (meaning the fans) were looking too deep into it — WAY too deep.

“It was just supposed to be a creepy thing. My idea was that it was the Mayan calendar in 2012 saying it’s the end of the world and I was going back and it’s the ‘end of the world as you know it’.

“That means that if one day you are walking down the street and you find a dog, and then the dog lives in your house, then it’s the ‘end of the world as you know it’.

“It’s the end of the way that you used to live and it’s a new world.

“The girl we just put in because she was creepy looking.

“There was never supposed to be a girl coming in with me — there wasn’t a change of plan.

“It was exactly what it was intended to be — a cryptic little cool thing that led to me coming back and doing what I did.”

Not speaking for several weeks after he returned

“That part was Vince’s idea. He was the one that suggested that and I thought it was great.

“I like to do something different that people don’t expect. That’s what I’ve always been about, in everything I do.”
