Avengers was trill. It has storyline though. This is not Expendables where some mugs get together and just fuck shit up. All of the character's stay true to the lead-in story lines. Ruffalo shut shit down as Hulk. Completely forgot about Ed Norton. You know these characters. Stark and Banner carry the movie in the dialog sequences (simply because they are the two best actors). He is not a dominant scrapper. He is tactful in combat and he is strong when it comes to dialogue. Iron man is that guy. Thor is the God in Marvel, HULK just bodies shit. No one can fuck with him. Fuck what you have read in comics or what you believe from your opinion or wiki pages. No one in the Marvel Universe can fuck with Hulk except Thor, Sentry, One-above-all, galactacus, eternity, and thanos.

Movies great. Looking forward to them figuring out how to incorporate more heroes and their rivalries. Loved the Hulk-THor beef erupting. Ever since that Lightning scene in the Hulk movie I have been waiting for it. Black Panther, Sentry, Ant-Man, Wasp, Spidey, Wolvie...get it popping. Then Let's have Justice League vs. the Avengers movie come to fruiting then start that bitch back over. Come on movie studios please make this happen. Avenger's is a great first step.

Very good movie. They did a lot of things right. The characterizations and power representations of each character were awesome. Thor and Hulk had real feats that drove home just how powerful they are. Of course Widow and Hawkeye aren't as powerful, but the movie did a great job of giving them places to shine. The story was good too, and the set up for future stories was just right.

Really, the only negative with the movie was the abundance of bad jokes. There was some legitimately good humor in the movie. There was some comic book nerd humor that would only be funny to people who got the reference. And then there was just a lot of cheesy BS. That said, the laughs that came from the Hulk's antics more than cancel out all the corny shit.

I still wouldn't say it's the best comic book movie. The Dark Knight still holds that spot for me, but I'd put this at number 2 tied with Iron Man.

Great Flick, I probably didn't catch the comic references when it came other characters like Ant Man. Down side that didn't have nothing to do with the movie, someone had a annoying laugh and laughed when shit wasn't really funny, like she was watching a Madea play.

Just saw it, the movie was good had lots of action and even more humor. The guy who played Loki did a good job and Hulk kept the theater laughing. Captain America's suit looked fake as hell and Iron Man suit was perfectly done. They played down Thor's power a little to much but it wasn't to bad.

To keep real the trilliest nigga in the movie is Hawkeye he gave no fucks in the movie him and Hulk fucked shit up. Comicbook heads will love the ending credits and who is shown at the end let's just say shit is gonna get real in the sequel.

Yo, there was a chick just like that in the theatre I saw it at. I can understand that some of the stuff may have involved references that I didn't catch, but this chick was laughing at shit that wasn't even supposed to be funny.

just saw this hoe. it was definitely a good look. the only movie fuckin wit it is dark knight, and even then they're in different lanes so you can't really compare the two.

as far as their order of trillness in the movie i gotta go with: 1. ironman 2. hulk 3. black widow 4. hawkeye 5. thor 6. caps. they totally fucked thor away for me. if it weren't for that lil squab w/hulk that nigga ALMOST appeared like a very strong HUMAN. he should've wrecked waaay more shit. i think people who don't read the comics should have a realistic understanding of who run shit in the marvel universe.

of all the humans, black widow was the best to me, with hawkeye was right on that ass; that nicca hawk was gangsta wit his, but once you see the movie you'll know why i had to give her the nod. caps and that damn suit. his fight scenes were a lil...bleh to me but that's nit picking.

i didn't notice the length of the movie probably because i'm a fan and it was good flick. you wanna talk length sit through lord of the rings...

GRADE - A

Just got back and wow what a way to start off the summer. This is by far the BEST MARVEL film ever. Yes, Better than Iron Man 1, Better than Spidey 2, Better than X2, it just did everything right. Nobody got shine over anyone else. The way that everyone was just included and everyone had a role to play was done very well. I'm sorry but Batman 3 and Spidey 4 are in The Avengers Shadow until futher notice. I was unsure how fitting everyone in was going to go but it worked well. The action was off the chain, the jokes were done very well and weren't chessy. Damn @ The Hulk, Dude is clearly the new Hulk going froward, he outshines Edward Norton and Eric Bana. Hawkeye and Black Widow story line was cool too. The only thing I didn't like was really Looki, he's an average villian to me but he was just a pawn in a larger galactic plot (See the ending credits) overall It blew me away and I was very impressed with this film.

Also the Reason "Justice League" can't work right now is they haven't included everyone in side storylines with the movies. What made the Avengers work so well was at the end of "Iron man 1 + 2, Incredible Hulk, Thor and Cap" it tied it all together. DC is already behind the ball cause none of it's hero films are tied together.

Gotta disagree here. FIrst off, Hulk shits on everyone else in the movie. All the other characters had scenes here and there that MIGHT have got a reaction out of SOME of the people in the theatre. Hulk had at least two that most definitely got a reaction out of everyone in the theatre.

Second, Thor wasn't really portrayed as weak at all. He and Hulk were basically running through enemies with 0 problem. Hell even the Hulk got bloodied up. Thor on the other hand was able to take out a whole wave of enemies by himself with one attack. I don't see why you would have wanted them to have Thor solo the alien army. That wouldn't have made sense. On top of that, Thor isn't really portrayed like that in the comics anyway. Yeah, in his solo books he may sometimes be shown to be a beast like that, but in the Avengers comics he never takes out major threats all by himself.

Clapping after a good show is tradition in human culture. I mean we are in a "Theater" after all. During my show it got a standing ovation and cheers. People really liked it. I thought the movie was as true to the comic as it could of been for a motion picture. Also that wasn't a diss to Nolan but the fact is fans just want a COMIC movie, the whole "It need to be real" is nonsense cause Comics aren't about being real they are about imagination with the colors and all and the Avengers was like a comic book splashing on the screen, it was great.

ironman/tony starks was a win/win no matter which character was on screen. that boy rdj is a good ass actor. although the hulk had a few good MOMENTS in the film he never really came across as a central character. his fight scenes were more demonstrative and destructive so i can see why he gets so much praise, but compared to the others his screen presence was not as memorable...EXCEPT for in the climax.

i wasn't tryna to imply that i wanted thor to take on the attack dolo, but if hulk could take out one them big ass aliens by himself thor could've too. instead this nicca thor up hiir fightin them lil aliens like caps, hawk, and widow. i'm sayin, if you didn't know who thor was AND he didn't have that lil squab with hulk, i could see somebody thinkin that caps could fuck wit thor.
