The scene where Peter snaps in the hallway after Uncle Ben dies and throws Flash up against the locker and the scene in gym class combine the incident where Flash tries to beat up Peter in the hallway at school and Peter just getting used to having his powers makes him look like a fool in the hallway.

Actually the movie with Tobey Mcguire stayed more true to that incident than this one did...but I actually liked this version better in how it was acted out

I liked it but I always been a Spiderman fan...definitely better than the previous Spiderman trilogy...I wonder who the villain is in the post-credit scenes.

I liked it. It was very dramatic it was like every father figure in his life died which was very sad. But that motherfucker lizard was a monster Spiderman could not match him in strength or speed

Andrew Garfield nailed Peter Parker/Spiderman

They didnt go all Lovey dovey romance nonsense.. Parker wasnt tryna be a comedian the whole movie... I like how they showed the toll being Spiderman takes on Parker... They didnt even get in to the whole thing with his parents... Lizard was dope.

They need to find a way to redo Venom , cuz they completely dropped the ball on him in the Maguire led Spider-man series..i thought they did a horrible job with Venom in S3


Venom , Vulture , Carnage , Mysterio i would like to see them choose from

Mysterio may be a bit much to try and pull off , that big ass bubble on his head possibly could come off cheesy

spiderman 3 was an entire fuck up....and they did venom no justice whatsoever
so far the dopest villains onscreen for spidey has been doc oc and lizard

I think the dude at the end was Norman Osborne. I mean, dude has clout so he was probably able to get up in there for a convo. I don't think he disappeared, just left. Maybe they used the serum on him to repair his brain and it's going to affect his brain and turn him into the goblin. As far as Peter's dad, can't figure out what that truth is.

Overall, I'd give it a solid 7/10 , decent balance of a love story and man v.s man/man finds himself and confronts the bad guy. It was alright, I'd rather rent it or bring my girl to it if she begged me. It definitely SHITS on the previous Spiderman trilogy.

The movies was cool but correction "The Amazing spider-man" shits on only 1&3 it doesn't shit on Spiderman 2.

couldn't have said it any better. it was a good reintroduction movie. so i wasn't expecting a big BANG, but i liked it. andrew garfield did a good job playin that role.

That's good they kept that part of it because a huge part of Spiderman is Peter trying to keep it hidden from Aunt May, but he's always coming home looking like he just got done with a gang initiation style ass whooping

I haven't seen this movie yet, but they showing Spider Man 2 on FX right now....and somebody explain this shit to me, was Peter Parker so damn weak when he was losing his powers that a fucking Chinese toddler was able to pull him up when he was dangling in that building fire? That shit had me like "what the fuck" back in 2004 and I'm like WTF now? and Spider Man 2 is boring as fuck.....
