So you think this is a good deal?

I mean, its definitely not a bad dead or "rip off". Not everybody wants to or even can drop $400 at once, especially if you are not that into gaming. This way, you drop $99 and you can you start playing right away like everyone else. Whats $40 extra dollars over two years?

  • 15 a month is still a rip off. That's more than netflix streaming or a subscription to HBO. 5 a month would be more understandable, and ms would still be earning more than the subscriptions they have now.

Lol@ comparing the 360 to the ps2 though

40 extra? This is not a deal at all. You.d be better of just buying the Xbox and connect with a one year subscription and still come out cheaper than this deal.

You don't eventually own any of the movies or shows on Netflix either. Or Gamefly. Another similar model that nobody seems to have a problem with until M$ did it. And again, compared to the overall price...how is $15 a month a rip off when its only $40 more in the long run. A 2 year long run?

Any why is the 360/XBOX Live and PS2/________ not a fair comparison?

And not pay rent, or car note that month? Or wait even longer for a price drop to do it all at once? This is simply an alternative for a different kind of consumer without outright ripping them off.

I'm sorry this is a rip off period. You're paying over 300 bucks for a service that would normally cost no more that 120 over two years and a 4 gig Xbox. Most of the updates and DL content would eat that hard drive up in no time then you're stuck with deciding what to delete and what to keep on the Xbox. You believe this is a deal you might as well go to a rent-a-center and by an Xbox. Atleast they let you know you're getting fucked. LOL

You forgot Kinect. Look, you can keep fuckin up the math all you want, but at the end of the day, it will always only ever be 40 extra dollars spread out over 2 years. Period.

And again, the people who this is marketed to don't care about a 4GB XBOX or DLC or even gaming at the core for that matter. The 360 has evolved into more than just a gaming device. I have a 250 GB XBOX and i'm happy. I don't feel the need to be threatened by this. LOL.

Bullshit rip off deal from Microsoft. They are so worried about selling these slim 360 kinect consoles that their game library is starting to look like shit and it been that way 2 yrs now. If anything, they need to start putting better games on the market, main reason I got a ps3 is b/c of the lack of 360 games. If it wasn't for the HD collection remakes, the sports games, & the arcade games on live I would had stopped playing my 360 by now or sold it.
