The 28-year-old Florida teacher accused of sending her topless pictures to a 16-year-old student and summoning him out of a class to have sex in a closet was arrested at her parents' home in Salida last week.

Kacy Christine Wilson had been under investigation since last October regarding the illicit relationship at Osceola High School in Kissimmee. Wilson and the teen initially denied the relationship, then Wilson resigned and returned to Colorado, thwarting attempts to interview her about the allegations, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Recently, the student admitted to the relationship, which led to Wilson's arrest in Chaffee County on a fugitive warrant on May 3, according to Colorado court records.

WOFL TV station in Orlando reported that the student said he changed his story because he was ashamed he had lost his virginity to a teacher.

"It's bad, that when I grow up and think about my first time, I have to think about Ms. Wilson," he is quoted as saying in the police reports.

She faces an $85,000 bond when she is extradited to Osceola County, Fla., where she faces charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and a child pornography charge

Her next court appearance in Salida is Monday afternoon. Her only other criminal offense in Colorado is a 2008 speeding ticket in Broomfield, for which she pleaded guilty and paid a $100 fine, records state.

Public records indicate she rented an apartment in Greeley from 2006 to 2008, before relocating to Florida.
