    ‘Obama Girl’ is ‘not as excited’ about 2012, won’t endorse Obama

    Amber Lee Ettinger, widely known as “Obama Girl” during the 2008 presidential campaign, told The Daily Caller she is “not as excited as I was the last time, that’s for sure.”

    The model-actress became a nationally known celebrity after starring in the viral YouTube video “Crush on Obama.”

    “Barack Obama was definitely the first ‘Internet President,’” she said, describing her experiences during the last cycle as “quite a roller coaster ride.”

    This time, however, Ettinger won’t say if she still supports Obama.

    “At this point I’m keeping that to myself,” she told TheDC. “If I’m not making videos, I’m not sure it’s anyone’s business who I’m voting for this time around.”

    “I think in the next few months it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens,” Ettinger said. ”I’d like to get out there and see what the young voters think about both candidates… I might need to break out my flip cam and take a road trip.”

    Marijuana Decriminalization: Efforts To Relax Pot Rules Gaining Momentum In U.S.

    A survey by Rasmussen last month found that 56 percent of respondents favored legalizing and regulating marijuana. A national Gallup poll last year showed support for legalizing pot had reached 50 percent, up from 46 percent in 2010 and 25 percent in the mid-'90s.

    Medical marijuana helped bring marijuana policy into the mainstream back in 1996, when California became the first state to authorize the use of cannabis for medicinal use. Other states followed suit.

    "It's now politically viable to talk about these things," said Robert Capecchi, legislative analyst with the Marijuana Policy Project, a Washington, D.C.-based group that supports the reduction or elimination of penalties for medical and recreational pot use. "The public understands that there are substances that are far more harmful – alcohol, tobacco – that we regulate. People are realizing just how much money is being wasted on prohibition."

    Colorado and Washington state will hold fall referendums on legalizing marijuana. A ballot question on legalization failed in California in 2010.

    This month, Connecticut's governor signed legislation to allow medical marijuana there. Last week, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo proposed cutting the penalty for public possession of small amounts of pot.

    Liberal state policies on marijuana have run into conflict with federal prohibition. Federal authorities have shut down more than 40 dispensaries this year in Colorado, even though they complied with state and local law. In Rhode Island, Gov. Lincoln Chafee blocked three dispensaries from opening last year after the state's top federal prosecutor warned they could be prosecuted.

    Obama saved the United States from collapse what else more is there to say ? And instead of praise he gets tomatoes thrown at him from spoiled brats who are mad he had to give Wall Street a bailout to save the whole country, cuz he pulled the troops out and ended the war and more. I bet you the same niggas hatin on the man will be the same niggas who will vote for him too..... but if you ask them they'll tell you Romney and Obama are somehow the "same" so there's no sense in them voting at all....     Hmm it seems you're just mad that many people out there are disappointed in Obama at this point, to call people who are disappointed in him brats is out of bounds. It doesn't make someone a brat to hate the fact Obama is a bloodthirsty warmonger as Lupe Fiasco said, and bails out Wall Street while spending crumbs on the American public and cities nationwide. It also doesn't make someone a brat for hating Obama's childish position on medical marijuana, something that saves lives and can produce hundreds of thousands of jobs, if not persecuted by the DOJ. The Bush tax cuts also ruined the nation, and it doesn't take a brat to figure that out. These are issues very important to moderates and liberals, but Obama doesn't get it. He and you think people should just accept his positions on these things and stop complaining. That attitude got Democrats to lose the House in 2010.

    It's a position of arrogance, and has costed Obama TONS of goodwill he used to have and will NEVER get back. Not until he thinks outside the box, something he was so willing to do for the homo vote. Hmm....I wonder why......

    This thread is done here. Dissapointment doesn't mean people are going to vote for the other guy when they already know or figuring what he's about. It looks like u don't wanna learn anything and give the President his props on what he's done and has been trying to get Congress to do.     War, Weed, the Economy, The catering to special Interests, and Lying to the Public about what is really going on while throwing up smokescreen discussion on shit that has no bearing on the legitimate issues is where I find myself not feeling Obama. Little sneak moves to further strip the public of its right to not only be informed of problems but to protest against them. Hr347 for example is just one of the many moves made by Barack that shows he does not really give a fuck about the people, just his fellow politicians and the special interests that help hold power. So again Obama and Romeney are more of the same shit they are playing the same game on us the people they are just selling slightly different products for the same company...

The U.S. is the biggest economy in the world, the WHOLE world is watching the U.S., it's part of my job to understand economies all over the world, how they operate and what's happening to them down to the politics.

    Given that I already picked apart the bailouts in how they could have been translated into legitmate help for the American People and not just the special corporate interests, Why don't you show with facts not rhetoric how Obama has legitemately helped to institute change that will help the Citizens of this nations currently and for the future. Also it is my hobby that I volunteer to help get people work here in the states done so in 3 seperate states same shit each state which is nothing good on the economic front. Hell I lived in a county in Ohio where the Unemployment rate was @19% and half the town was vacant I see the real side of the spin game the media feeds you foreignors...

    You got me on the typo shit happens but fam you have to get your reading game up Already in this thread the Unemployment Numbers have been refuted form legit sources where they broke down the spin and change in the way Unemployment is reported back to the general public so that the Numbers appear Lower, ANother point for you fam is the past tense use of "I lived In a County" was not stating it was the whole state specifically I was in Wake County and the Galion Inquirer a Local publication reported the real unemployment rate versus what was being fed to the media this was a few years back(2009) but those I know still in that area have made it clear things have not changed much the area is still dead and becoming more vacant.

    Ironically that same auto industry you say Obama saved is what once supported the area and no longer does so to this day. It is funny you speak on Gas prices when they are over 4 a gallon and keep coming close to breaking 5 a gallon, so while the barrel price is way down the per gallon price is way up yet another way the people are getting fucked here. Again there is a big difference in what you foreigners are fed by the media and what is actually happening here with the people. I will give Obama's administration props on their propaganda game as it is off the chain. What is sad is they push through shit like HR347 to strip people of their rights in their information control games so that kats like yourself on the outside never really get to see what those of us here living it should already know...

    How has Obama brought more peace to the world, LMAO.....drone strikes are at an all time high around the world, and so are military operations as well.....seriously, what are you talking about? We're still in Afghanistan and we'll be killing civilians and Taliban there till 2024 (thereby creating even more terrorists).     the shit was a month ago and with natural inflation we should be about 2.40 -2.60 a gallon and that is still extreme this shit is next level and yes ideally a new eneergy source would be nice but it takes money to buy new cars that take a new fuel and with most kats struggling and the gap becoming wider each year that is unrealistic. You kats want to give Obama too much credit and not enough criticism he has not done shit that has helped me or those that I know and is just Bush Jr. with people skills as far as the moves I have seen. Again hr347 learn about it and then holler back about how your boy is actually making positive moves for the rights of the people with a straight face...

    That all happened in 2008 through 2010. Democrats and Obama didn't do much during those years, and that's the reason Democrats lost the House......
