Anyone know of Freeway's Label situation? I remember when "Freelapse" came out he was with Cash Money Supposedly but i dont think anything materialized, now i think he might be with Rhymesayers. i know he works with Jake One from Rhymesayers.

Nah i know the G Unit Philly deal didnt go down. Thats where i looked at first too. I hope he signs with Rhymesayers as a solo artist thatd be pretty awesome. Freeway would be even doper with production from Ant and Jake One.

Maybe its just me but i dont like freeway rapping now. The most enjoyable thing about freeway was the fact that he had such an indirect rhyming style all of his shit just sounded so real and not forced like he tried to make shit rhyme.

It's just you. Free still has that unconventional, indirect style of rhyming i.e., A, B, B, B, A something like that...it's just a little faster pace now. It's still more original than most in the game.

I'd like to see him on a major label just so he can get that extra push out to the mainstream. freeway's a dope rapper. get him some nice hooks and hot beats and he could craft a classic. I can't really think of any rap labels where he would be good though. Labels like ymcmb and good music have too many rappers, it'd be like signing to a team and knowing you'll be sitting on the bench the entire season. I could see him on MMG. lmao @ the thought of freeway, ross, and stalley's beards taking up half the screen in music videos if you got all three of them in one scene.
