Tony Parker Injured His Eye During the Fight Involving Chris Brown and Drake

Chris Brown isn't the only celebrity who suffered an injury during the now-infamous melee involving Breezy and Drake on Wednesday night at the W.i.P. nightclub in New York City. According to a new report, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, who was at the club with his girlfriend when the fight broke out, was also injured when a piece of glass hit him in the eye.

"I was quietly with my friends when a fight broke out," Parker told the French media shortly after touching down in France earlier today to begin prepping for the 2012 Olympic Games. "Bottles started flying everywhere. I tried to protect my girlfriend and I got everything. The cornea was affected. I cannot do anything for seven days...I was lucky…[They] almost had to give me stitches."

Wow. This fight story just keeps getting crazier.

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is suing the owners of W.i.P. nightclub over injuries he allegedly sustained during the Chris Brown-Drake brawl earlier this month, reports the New York Post. The NBA All-Star is seeking $20 million following a "corneal laceration of the left eye and other injuries" he says he suffered during the fight, though his lawyer David Jaroslawicz admitted the extent of the injuries are still unknown.

Neither Brown nor Drake are listed as defendants, with Parker and Jaroslawicz blaming the club for the situation. "The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drake's entourage and Brown's entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two," reads the suit.

Parker, who is scheduled to play with the French national basketball team at the Summer Olympics in London, claims the injuries will sideline him for a week. After initially feeling fine, he said the injury worsened, forcing him to visit the ER and to wear "therapeutic" contact lenses.
