Karen Huff Klein, a bus monitor for the Greece School District in Greece, N.Y., is receiving an outpouring of support after a ten-minute video of her enduring vicious bullying while watching over students on a bus ride home was uploaded to YouTube. She has been a widow for 17 years, has lived in the same town she grew up in and is about to have her 50th high school reunion in the same school district.

After the footage surfaced, Reddit user razorsheldon posted a call to arms in support of the school official who was brought to tears by the group of children. Now, under pressure from the local community, the Greece School District and Greece Police Department are launching investigations into the incident, telling WHEC-TV that the children involved will "face disciplinary action."

Some redditors began trying to identify the individual students involved, something forbidden by Reddit site policies. All posts of this nature were deleted by the site moderators. Those on 4chan, the Internet discussion board that spawned the Anonymous hacktivist movement, were not so constrained. They quickly identified many of the students on the video, found contact information for the students' parents, and began to plan their retaliation.

More than 4,000 donors from across the country have already donated over $85,000 to pay for Karen to take the vacation of a lifetime, or maybe even retire early.

According to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, Karen will appear on Thursday's Good Morning America (ABC), The Today Show (NBC), Fox & Friends (FOX News), and with Anderson Cooper on CNN.

Cosign if I would have opted to play along with their little game, I would have had them crying in seconds. If I decided not to I would have simply reported their actions to their parents.

Sounds like my sixth grade class, but I do not remember anyone telling our teacher to shut the fuck up.
