Too many problems stateside to deal with before going overseas. Lawsuits, "concussions/player safety", ticket prices.

Gotta take care of problems at "home" 1st then worry about expansion and when that time comes it should be in LA and/or Toronto.

nfl europe was only doin decent in germany. we only have one major sport back home and that is football (the real football, you actually play with your feet). so there is definitely room for another major sport but the league would need more support from american clubs

OKC should get a football team before England....lol...why is this even on the drawing board?....do the NFL games they already play over there really make $$$ much less increase the viewership and fan base that much we need a team over there?

In AMERICA....like stated earlier no one really cares about AMERICAN football overseas...in fact they still chastise us for calling a game football where we barely even use our feet?...and for wearing pads when they play a more brutal sport call rugby in nothing but a shirt and shorts...lol...there are US cities/states more deserving of helping raise the brand and bringing more exposure/fans/etc. more than any country overseas(that again doesn't want or care for our sport to begin with)...

U really think the next Tom Brady/Peyton Manning/AP/Moss etc. is really coming from across the pond anytime soon...or even in the next 20 yrs?

Look at how much talent Europe has given the NBA in the past decade or so...

Dirk Nowitzki, Peja Stojakovic, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Ginobili, Kirilenko, etc.

Started in 91...ended in 07....that's 16 years of "exposure" right there and they closed up shop for a reason

This is different than basketball....international basketball started in 1932 and was in the Olympics in 1936....thats a good 76 years of exposure across the globe.....now american football has been around just as long but for some odd reason they cant seem to expand quite like basketball and i wonder why
