What it would sound like?? It depends, I think people confuse hip-hop and rap. Right now were hearing a lot of bs just to be heard. I don't see real hip-hop getting back to where it was. I'm not interested in a lot of stuff now. I honestly play a lot of old stuff like, Wu, Nas, Lords of the Underground, Tribe, back when lyrics actually meant something.

20 Years from now a new artform would probably emerge.

But i'm sure Hip-Hop would be very important to me in 20 years. Whether it's the current Hip-Hop of 2032, or Hip-Hop from previous eras.

And I can't fathom what Hip-Hop would sound like in 20 years. In 1992 I'm sure niggas wouldn't have even came close to guessing that Hip-Hop would be like how it is now.

ill be listening to hip hop no doubt... maybe going thru my old cd and vinyl though... hopefully rappers i like now like vinnie paz, immortal tech and soforth would of inspired younger generations to rap and influenced their music, so it it will continue... i shudder to think of jamaica's comment coming true, though i think he will be right in some form, i think that will be more like 5/10years though...

I think it is just a cycle. Hip hop never was one thing but I think there will be alot less about the struggle, race, bad cops. It will continue to be party music for the most part

I knew about him from people talking about the track "dancing with the devil" and after that
i never heard anyone speak on him again.

you must have your head in the grown brother, hes got more and more and more popular since then... shit, he was even sitting next to prodigy at the rock the bells, hes getting more mainstream shine then ever... hes all over the world touring to... hes got a dope track with styles p, vinnie paz on his newer mixtape, never thought i would hear him record with sp... hes doing his thing

i'm telling you what i've heard of him, and that was like 3 - 4 years ago. Since then I've been seeing him more because of the Occupy Wallstreet.. Dude's a smart guy.

but, he's not even mainstream.. Just because he's touring all over the world and sitting next to Prodigy doesn't mean me, the next guy and the guy after that is going to know who he is. Shit. Look at Tech N9Ne, he's more mainstream than Immortal Technique is, and Tech N9Ne is not even Mainstream like that.

of course techs not mainstream, he never has been and never will be... but his popularity continues to rise, and he gains more fans all the time, and continues to tour all over the world... i used the rock the bells thing as an example, to show that now, more than ever hes getting more excepted in the mainstream thats all... plus he was on ice t's documentary, 6 years ago he never would be in the limelight like that, ive followed him since revolutionary vol.1 days...

thats im saying, he turned down millions from majors, he wants to be indy, he builds schools, hospitals and orphanages and farms land... all im saying, every year, he gains more public exposure, i remember when i first listened to him, hardly anyone knew of him... dude defo inspires alot of artists who i listen to, likehasan salaam, lowkey, diabolic etc like you say, hes wants to empower with his music, which is does, after i listen to them rappers, i always end up researching something, like the black pope and knights templar etc
