but between the 2, shit is a hard choice, cause they're equally good,but i'd go with fresh prince.

Martin only had had 4 good seasons, fresh prince 6 strong seasons.

Martin season 5 was trash alot of the original ideas got scrapped cuz gina n martin was beefin.
and season 6 never happened.

Hard choice...well my choice would be Martin because of three reasons:

(1) The whole cast (not just the main but the supporting ones as well) had good comedic chemistry and was more urban grounded in tune with the Hip Hop culture i.e. Biggie, Outkast, Meth, Jodeci etc...
(2) Tisha Campbell's ass.
(3) Tichina Arnold's ass.

I don't know I think y'all are confusing which one is funnier, with which one is the better show. When it comes to being funny yeah I'll give it to Martin. But Fresh Prince was just the better all around show to me. You don't find too many black shows like that where white people watch them just as much as black people.

90 % of Martin episodes are classics and have instant replay value.
Fresh Prince is more well rounded as far as storylines, but as a show? Martin is the greatest of all time man. I cant watch Fresh Prince that much anymore, but I can watch Martin all day.
