Can one of you sports buffs actually tell me what the PHUCK the Sixers are doing?

I don't get it. After this year's very successful (for them, at least) playoff run they should've been primed to grab and/or draft someone that could make a difference and maybe put them into EC Finals contention.

Instead:

They pass on Sullinger and Fab Melo - letting them go to BOSTON, no less - and grab a guy who's built JUST LIKE Thad Young
They resign that soft-ass Spencer Hawes, instead of going after a quality big man, like Al Jeffereson.
They haven't amnestied Elton Brand's broken down ass yet
And that Iggy/Gasol perposed trade probably won't happen, no does it need to.
And I heard no one say anything about Jrue Holiday being traded, which is what really needs to happen to free up Evan Turner.

I don't understand. It's like they're content on staying in that 6-9 seeding range for the next 10 years. I've heard "___________ is the future for so long, and it makes no sense."

Someone explain it to me.

Yeah, Lou opted out of his deal. I think it's Collins a bit. Part of it is the young boys can't deal with him yelling at them cause they not built like that. Part of it is Doug Collins is really only effective for 2 years. After that, his system breaks down, epsecially considering he doesn't play rookies like that. That what landed Mo Speights in Memphis; he couldn't deal with Doug.

I say Lou can go. He maybe can get 20 a game, but he'll have to shoot 22 times most nights to do it. But Jodie Meeks's garbage ass needs to go with him.

I think they are waiting for the 2013 free agent class, which is significantly better than this year and they will potentially be about 25 million under the cap.

No matter who they pick up in free agency this year they would not be strong enough to beat the heat so they might as well wait.

Lou Williams is nothing lmao He's a dime a dozen: a guy who, b/c he's in the right situation and has a green light, becomes hyped by hi steam (Hello-Eric Gordon)

Philly's problem is their player development: Thad Young aint turn into the 'stud' pause he was supposed to. Evan Turner was the #2 pick who isnt playin like it. Jrue Holiday isnt first tier...

But having said that, you have nothign to complain about. They play hard and slightly overachieved.

Nick Young has reached an agreement to become a Philadelphia 76er, his agent Mark Bartelstein told Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo sports (and since confirmed my multiple other sources). It is a one-year, $6 million deal.

Lou will is out! They are going to suck because Evan Turner and Jrue holiday are not as good offensively as Lou Williams. They can play d all they want but they have to score.

Iggy is a 2nd best player third offensive options. Kind of guy. Think Rondo currently and Marion.

I feel the same way as the TS, Philly is my squad but they haven't developed (or recruited any) talent for awhile. They can't be spending too much money on these young dudes that they have, so I know they have some bank for some players. I was very surprised they get as far as they did this year, and i'm a big fan.
