but the lakers wanted more than just Josh for Gasol........

that means if the lakers wanted to they could just do a straight up trade gasol for josh....

Josh Smith for Gasol is a great trade, Lakers are stupid by not making it happen.

Josh is 26 and in prime form, Gasol is 31, not that old, but he soft that adds 10 years .

If Howard decides to go to L.A., they definately have the trade value for both of them. They could make the Hawks add in a bench player and a draft pick with Josh for Gasoft. Then use that bench player or draft pick to go with Bynum for a trade for Howard.


It's definately possible, it's all just a matter of does Howard want to be there. I wouldn't want play that squad at all.

He will not have to take a huge pay cut, he might not make as much as the Magic could pay him, but he will make more than enough playing in a big market like NY. They can offer him a shorter contract and Larry Bird him in, then give him a bigger second contract. Prokarov don't give a fuck about no salary cap nigga, they'll make it work.
