To the PC/Laptop gamers, help me out

So hear me out, I'm going to Indonesia next month for atleast a year(Study/work related), I'm not bringing any consoles and thought I would be going cold turkey gaming wise( I copped a psp but wth) untill I realized I could use my laptop for gaming as well, for in case I get bored/whatever.

I just copped Civilisiation IV and Empire Total war, installed them both (including steam) They seem to be working fine. I have a Asus X52J 15.6 inch HD/4 GB/64 bit/Intel Pentium/P6100/2.000 ghz etc. It;s not really hightek lol

What software/hardware do I need to cop for better performance(ain't feelin like coppin a new laptop just yet) and what games do you recommend ?

From what I've read their isn't a way to upgrade laptops. You may however be able to use console emulators other than other than PS3, Xbox 360 and wii. If you want a gaming computer it is cheaper to build a powerful one than to buy one. You can play just about any game other than the exclusives for new consoles on a computer. Some require powerful graphics cards though.

You can upgrade custom built laptops but not the store owns pre made bullshits

There are software to help your pc run efficiently while gaming about it.

Save some cake buy a custom built laptop or build a desktop much cheaper more reliable and last longer.
