I consider them the best things that happen to me, without them there is no me. My "father" ain't shit, never was shit, never gonna be shit. Don't understand what my mother saw in him. My mother bust her ass for most of her life and I'm happy she can sit back now and enjoy life

My parents are the best people I know.

However mum married step pops and they now the richest people I know. Sometimes she forgets what it was like before they got paid. Says shit that pisses me off. I will do whatever to feed my kids, mums hasn't worked since her early 40's and forgets how real life can be for those who do have to keep an eye on finances. Pops in a wheel chair but runs various international business from home. They good, and my kids stay spoilt, mainly by me but mum buys them whatever...

But the point is....they the best people I know.

raised 3 kids, one with a degree, one with a law degree and one who is too lazy to finish his degree (he only has one class to complete)

My parents are hard working upper middle class. They divorced when I was 6, but my pops was still in our (older brother) lives. Made sure we visited every summer when he moved & came to visit on certain holidays. My mom never even asked for CS b/c she trusted him to handle his responsibility.

My older brother has a degree & I'm a few semesters away from mine. They were great parents.
