Said it on facebook to some lames and i'll say it again: Is 10 million excessive? Yeah, but if you know anything about how lawsuits like this go down, the plaintiff files for a certain amount and the judge decides what is really owed. It's similar to bargaining i.e. You start high and it ends up somewhere in the middle.

Are we really taking a ohhh poor is me position for Miller? Fuck that. Dude made a video for the record, didn't bother to ask to use it and has performed this song on tour. I know, I caught some of his set travelling between stages at RTB. He's booked, gets paid and performs this song as a part of it. Maybe he's been catapulted beyond this song and especially that KIDS tape but dude made a foundation off of it and threw the middle finger up to the foundation.

It's easy to see Finesse as bitter considering his status in the game but a precedent needs to be set.

You have a point, but are there really a whole lot of other rappers who have done something similar, made a video off of it and used it to catapult themselves to fame? I'm genuinely curious. It goes a bit deeper than just jackin for beats like Wayne has done.
