Fact: 65% of Blacks are born in the bottom income quintile, 11% of whites

Fact: 23% (nearly a quarter of whites) are born into the top income quintile, 2% of Blacks. 46% of Whites are born above the middle quintile, 9% of Blacks.

Only 4% of those raised in the bottom quintile make it all the way to the top as adults.. just 8% of those raised in the top quintile fall all the way to the bottom...
