Apparently Mo's going to tweet Van Persie and ask him to stay at Arsenal. Top bloke.
  • Chelsea lost to Brighton today 3-1

i was at the game, we had some mega seats to, basically sitting on the bench...

hazzard played shit, dude was mad wack, he got totally owned by liam bridcutt *who was motm*... from the matches ive seen from hazzard dude goes missing in games, hes not game changer...

chelsea had full strength side out to, as did we, although we had 4 key players out, no wayne bridge, lua lua or makell smith, and noone came off the bench... but chelseas defense was absolutely shocking...

torres was also wack, and he beefed with di matteo when he got subbed off... only players that where good for chelsea where cole and lampard, but they didnt really do anything of note...

chelsea took czech off in the 70th min and bought on ross turnbell, he came on and did a good save...

although chelsea have had 3 straight pre season defeats now, their fans where great, they where loud, wonder if they will keep signing during the season lol

ill post some pics up in abit...
  • we are getting our stadium extended so there where two empty stands as they are being constructed still... we also getting all the corners filled in to...

  • Santi Cazorla has already been sold, says Malaga midifelder - Arsenal favourites to sign the Spanish winger

    147722824.jpg

Santi Cazorla has already been sold, according to Malaga teammate Enzo Maresca as Arsenal emerge as clear favourites to sign the Spanish playmaker.

Malaga announced last week they were undergoing a process of "internal restructuring" amid reports owner Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nassar Al-Thani, a member of the Qatar royal family, wanted to sell up after only two years.

The club said on Saturday Venezuela striker Salomon Rondon had not joined the rest of the squad on a pre-season tour to Italy because he was negotiating his exit, while Cazorla is widely expected to join English Premier League side Arsenal.

With his expensively assembled team crumbling around him, Pellegrini may also jump ship but Maresca told a news conference Cazorla was a key part of the Malaga project as they prepare to take part in the Champions League for the first time.

"He (Pellegrini) is fundamental for us, just as Cazorla and Rondon were fundamental and who have had to be sold," added the Italian, who captained Malaga for Saturday's 2-0 friendly defeat to his former club Juventus in his native Salerno.

Forward Francisco Portillo said the club's performance against Italian champions Juventus had left them with "positive feelings" despite the uncertainty over Malaga's future.

"It's not an easy situation for us and I think we are showing that we can put ourselves above all these things," added the 22-year-old.

''Robin van Persie is set to make a dramatic U-turn and stay at the Emirates.
Arsenal’s star striker made it clear at the start of the summer that he wanted to move on because of the club’s lack of ambition.

Arsene Wenger ordered van Persie to stay at home and miss Arsenal’s tour of the Far East.
But, significantly, the Dutchman, who is 29 on Monday, will be part of the Arsenal party that heads to Germany on his birthday.
Club insiders believe van Persie, who has a year remaining on his contract, now wants to stay.

The next challenge will be for the club to table a contract that gets him to commit to the club for the long term.

The summer signings of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, as well as the imminent arrival of Spain international Santiago Cazorla, in a £9million deal from Malaga, have impressed the captain.

There is also the prospect of Holland team-mate Gregory van der Wiel arriving for £7million.
Van der Wiel also has one year left on his contract at Ajax and the Dutch champions are anxious to cash in rather than lose him on a free next summer.
Van der Wiel hopes to join the Gunners, but Newcastle have tabled a £10m double bid for the Dutch right-back and Ajax midfielder Vernun Anita.

Ajax hope to hang on to Anita but the Toon interest will force Arsenal into action. Van Persie’s complaints about Arsenal failing to buy at the top end of the transfer market have been silenced.

Wenger is insistent that his star marksman will not leave for less than £30m – and bids from the three clubs keen to sign the Footballer of the Year have fallen well short of that figure.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus have all lodged offers of around £15m.
Van Persie is believed to prefer a move to Old Trafford but accepts if the clubs can’t settle on a fee he would rather concentrate on rebuilding his Arsenal career.

So Van Persie now looks certain to start the season as an Arsenal player – and if the season goes as he hopes, he will re-assess his long-term position by January''

Apologies if this has already been posted.
    So the saga continues...
This is so unsettling! I wish he'd either commit or get out!
