Plus the purpose of bringing up books like Twilight or Harry potter was only to point out that there are no Black Authors that write to capture the imagination of not only the youth but the adults as well.

A Black man today can become so rich that he practically can wear the cost of the average persons home around his wrist. His car can put 3 people through law school. His earring can remodel the projects in his city. But you tell me in order to fund good entertainment the powers that be will not let him?

As it has been pointed out several Black Producers made some great movies. As I have pointed out many Black People have produce their own independent films, some good some bad.

The only question this thread asks is why Does it seem that more Black producers and writers aren't pushing new boundaries? That's all. And those that have participated in this thread seem to get that.
