I think the movie Avengers is the best movie known to mankind, however when it comes down the the characters I believe the X-men hold a slight edge. Here is my argument:
Based on the characters listed, there is no stopping Wolverine, that nigga just keep healing. Where as Ironman can eventually run out of energy. Jean got the mind control on lock and Storm can control more that lightning conversly to Thor. She has tornados and blizzards. How are they going to catch Nightcrawler? It would pretty much come down to Jean and the Hulk. The rest of the Avengers are too mortal to hang.

because they explain some shit to at least give you a chance for suspension of disbelief: Thor is an alien/god, Iron Man a rich genius that designed a suit, Cap with the serum ect. X-men is just dumb unbelievable, just chalk it all up to mutant genes.. right. like having a genetic mutation can either randomly allow you to command a tornado, turn invisible or shoot laser beams out your eyes.. whichever one you win in the gene lottery. even for comics the shit is senseless and i have zero reason to think any X-Men could take an alien norse god with an indestructible hammer. all 5 X-Men movies were wack to me so yea i'm hating.
