Minnesota State Football coach Todd Hofner arrested on child pornography charges

EAGLE LAKE — Minnesota State University head football coach Todd Hoffner was booked into the Blue Earth County jail at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday on requested charges related to child pornography.

Jail booking records for Hoffner cite the statute relating to child pornography crimes.

A Blue Earth County deputy and Eagle Lake Police were at Hoffner's home early Tuesday afternoon.

Eagle Lake Police Chief Phil Wills said he couldn't comment on the case, but was assisting Blue Earth County in the investigation.

"I'm just here assisting and doing whatever I need to do," Wills said.

The home is located at 404 Perry St. in Eagle Lake.

Hoffner was escorted off the MSU football practice field last Friday and has been placed on administrative leave at the university and the university has made no further comment.

but yeah, they put him on blast with that address, although it probably could have been found on whitepages.com or maybe classmates.com. it was just funny how it was just thrown into the article.

i really didn't even intend for it to sound like that and realized it after i typed it....but wouldn't be surprised is dude end up shot somewhere white folks in these so called "peaceful" states just shootin up people for no reason word to the shootings in colorado and wisconnson minnesotta gotta be next....and the shooter has a valid reason to kill a dude best believe they gon go extra in on him and murder him.

I remember I had a middle school football coach that got Arrested and escorted off the practice field for assault and back-child support.

One of my funniest memories of childhood.

Picture 40 7th graders and bout 10 grown coaches laughing for 10 minutes straight.
