I would use some texturized rubber undercoating on the accents (fender flaps, grill) to give it some texture and keep the blacked-out, rugged look.

And to me, to do the matte black look nasty, you either need to have:
a) a truck like this lifted/tires/ etc
b) a car with some nice aggressive angular lines (lambo, GTR,)
c) upgraded with the kit and a crazy offset wheel/tire combo to create those lines, like that SL65 in ace hood's video

@BossBoo word tho, wraps been popping lately, i go to a weekly meet where i see more cars being wrapped, cars that be worth houses getting wrapped too
lol but check these wraps out, i took these pics while i was there, and this wrap is worth 25k, thats a huge chunk a change for a wrap, however i aint gonna lie the wrap is bitchin, it feels smooth as fuck, and has a design like water on the blue lambo, if you have the money why not right? haha
