Hitman Absolution is worth every penny so far (I'm in the abandoned library now).

It has completely removed the visual stench Resident Evil 6 left behind (that fucking game is the most disappointing release this year, since I had high hopes for it).

The fact that you can fuck up Chicago PD numerous ways, gives this game plenty of replay value for me.

I'm getting it this friday, this game is a strong contender for game of the year since asscreed 3 was such an utter disappointment. I hope it wins GOTY so it can send a message to game developers that gamers want more than twitch shooters, graphics, and scripted QTE with boring open worlds.

This game is hot fire. I just got through playing a few levels and it's vintage hitman with with a few new features. If you don't like the features you can turn them off, but I i'm enjoying them. There is so many ways to assassinate a target and you get points for how you do it which enhances your abilities. The graphics is ok, the plot is good, and the gameplay is fantastic. It doesn't have a competitive or co-op multiplayer, but you can set custom contracts to compete with your friends on how well you can assassinate a target. This game is all-around found and it's my personal GOTY, because based on the games emphasis on gameplay alone.
