I think it would be advantageous to the Union to get rid of most if not all the Confederate States. I dont think Texas was a Confederate State but im 99.9% sure they'd have wanted to be if they could.

I wouldnt let them seceded though. In maybe 15-20 years Texas will be a Swing State. We're gonna need those electoral votes.

The other Confederate States though? A complete embarrassment to the Union and should have been gone long ago IMO. Not even a lot of tax revenue from those places. We'd all be better off.

I really wish the south would have stalemated the north in the civil war. We'd be better off

as Black folks. Eventually there would have been a massive slave rebellion with troops coming in from

Shows what I know. I thought they didnt become a state until like the 1860s. THought they were their own little territory at first. BUt you're right they seceded in 1861. My bad...

My only wish was that President Grant went harder during reconstruction. BLacks really got screwed during that time than any other time because it allowed the South to start the institution of Peonage (that nobody ever talks about).

I doubt Haiti would have done much to be honest. Islanders and Africans dont care much about American blacks. Dont know if that was the case back then but part of the reason the South did lose was because of slave revolts in many of the places and it was dangerous for whites to have slaves after a while.
